Shirley Temple Black SNIP died surrounded by family at her home in Woodside, Calif. She was 85.
By six, she'd received a miniature Academy Award and left her hand and footprints in cement at Grauman's Chinese Theatre.
She married twice and gave birth to three children before venturing onto the political stage, serving as US ambassador to both Ghana and Czechoslovakia, a US representative to the United Nations and chief of protocol in the administration of President Gerald Ford.

serving as US ambassador to both Ghana and Czechoslovakia, a US representative to the United Nations and chief of protocol in the administration of President Gerald Ford. .................................... She should have ran for President! Look what we are going to get next as the first woman.
I didn’t realize she was still going strong. I loved her movies when I was a kid.
show them to your children and grandchildren...
they are full of mentions of God and patriotism and love of America...
RIP. One of the few child stars to live a good and normal life.
Rest in Peace
“Hollywood legend turned diplomat Shirley Temple dies at 85”
Better title ...
Hollywood legend, who smartened up and turned conservative, Shirley Temple dies at 85
Loved the Shirley Temple movies..a true Icon..RIP
I watched one of her few adult roles this past weekend, John Ford’s “Fort Apache.” She was a beautiful young lady.
was it online ???
Ive been trying to find it online where its free and I don’t have to register to see it...
Fort Apache was the only John Wayne movie Shirley was in...
Henry Fonda was also in it...
Ive been watching John Wayne movies lately..
Two Democrats who "smartened up" and became Repiblicans. B^)
Watched that movie recently...
Shirley Temple married her Fort Apache co-star, John Agar. That marriage did not last long.
My favorite Shirley Temple movie is “The Bachelor and the Bobbysoxer” with Cary Grant and Myrna Loy! Delightful!
I am addicted to the Encore Westerns channel. Especially the old Gunsmoke episodes.....a half hour one at 5:30 followed by an early (B&W) hourlong one at 6.
I can point out by name many western character actors. Like Hank worden, the skinny bald headed old man who shows up in many John Wayne movies, played “Old Mose” (I want my rockin chair) in “The Searchers.”
Did you like it? I’ve never seen it.
Theres WesternsOnTheWeb too...
you don’t have to register and they are free
John Wayne has his own category for some of his early movies on there..
