Former Bush administration adviser Karl Rove on Sunday cautioned Republicans against a 2016 presidential election strategy that focuses too much on the political history of potential Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton.

No surprise there. The fix is in. Immigration, the Chamber of Commerce, corporatism, Hillary Clinton - Hillary will do what the corporatists tell her, the Clinton’s know where the big money is. So does Karl Rove.

Standard GOP fare.

Never play your strong hand, never fight to win.

Lead with your deuces and hope the hold up.

If you fight for your beliefs or attack with your best shot, the media will criticize you, and they won’t be your friend.

Yes, the GOP approach to politics is the same as the skinny, unpopular 7th grader’s approach to dating....

Hillary should be vigorously held to account for her conduct of the SoS office, and her voting record in the Senate. I would leave Billyboy out of it though. First, he is not running, second he is unaccountably popular, and third it would set up Hillary to be the victim of mean spirited opponents blaming her for her husband's conduct long ago.

What else does the GOP have to run on?

Well, let's look at the things that they allow:

  1. Fast & Furious
    • State sponsored terrorism.
The non-action on any meaningful consequence/punishment, individually or corporately is condoning the arming of the cartels, which we know are definitionally terrorists.
    • Treason
Given the above, the actions the BATFE/FBI/ICE/DEA engaged in was providing aid and support to the enemies of the several states.
    • Violation of International Treaty
There are treaties with Mexico we have which cover the import/export of arms — this operation is violatave of at least one.
  2. Eligibility Ambiguities
The allowance of Obama to assume the role of President with the ambiguities respecting the eligibility shows a disregard for the law, the integrity of the elective-process, and the integrity of the chain of command of all branches of the military.
  3. Endless Debt Incurrance
This shows that they are perfectly onboard with selling the general population, and their children/grand-children/great-grandchildren/..., into slavery; as this is guaranteed by the taxes we/they will pay — and you cannot refuse to pay.
  4. Benghazi
This shows that they are perfectly comfortable with the official betrayal of agents both military and civil — what makes you think they won't betray you?
  5. Gun Control
The Republican party is like Texas: all talk and no action. This is especially true with gun control: Texas allows restrictions on concealed carry, to the point that driving with a firearm that is accessible [i.e. not in the trunk/locked-case] can be considered a violation. Likewise the Republican party does not fight against current gun control law [this is illustrated by the Clinton Assault-Weapons Ban, where they take credit for its termination… something where they had to literally do nothing, as the legislation had a sunset clause].
  6. Mitt Romney
The party pushed Mr of course I support abortion in the case of rape, incest, or the "mother's health" Romney… even as they added the no exceptions to the party's platform-plank against abortion. [They will never vigorously push against this infanticide, just like they will never push against extant gun-control — they cannot allow it because to do so would remove their ability to scare-monger votes out of it.]
IN THE GRIM DARKNESS OF THE FAR FUTURE THERE IS ONLY GOVERNMENT.

We need to educate the younger generations on the coverups, debauchery and corruption involving BOTH Clintons!

Oh no no no. According to the appeasement Surrender Monkeys working the subterfuge for the Single State Party apparatus - we must not talk about those things that are unkind to the Democrats. Instead we must only talk about those things we are for, such as: amnesty, free government healthcare, unlimited debt ceiling passes, etc.

We must not talk about Constitutional abuses of power, high crimes, misdemeanors or the litany of lies if they pertain to a Democrat.

We are free of course to crucify a Conservative for any ill statement they make, or if necessary - make up a litany of lies and attribute them to the Tea Party Candidate.

But HANDS OFF calling out the Democrats for their disqualifications for office, that only 'turns off the voters'.

Only THEN we will have the support of the people to 'win' an election.

I will not vote for Clinton because of her description of tens millions of voters as “Vast Right Wing Conspiracy” nuts when it was HER husband who was waging war against women. There I said it.

I will not vote for Clinton because she could not manage the Department of State. She could not protect her Ambassador and staff employee. She lied to the American voters when she blamed the video. She knowingly allowed a green card holder to go to jail because of the video. She had the nerve to ask, “What difference does it make?” when questioned about Benghazi.

SHE CAN”T HANDLE THE JOB.

The days where patriotism had meaning beyond 4th of July fireworks and the Civil War days are slipping away into historical tales. I have come to believe/favor the thought that the USA has been taken on a wild goose chase as far as Obama’s parentage is concerned. I now tend to believe he had a rogue father who was a cult leader in/from Indonesia who was a ‘spitting image of Obama. He had a rogue would-be stand in African father. The dots have been exposed that his mother and Loretta Fuddy were members of the cult. Both persons have conveniently passed as to verification of any heritage. It really surprises me that people seeking info on Obama have not connected the dots and the full story. It will also be only a blip in history but a shame on the USA and for the Founders.

Good one Rover - they will do deep background checks and make up lies to fill in the gaps on any of our candidates, but it would be bad form for us to point out the truth about their candidates. Makes perfect sense if you are overdue for your meds.

From the article: “This should be about the future and not a rehashing of the past,” said Strickland, who has helped lead the political attack against New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, a potential top GOP presidential candidate.”

I mean, it says it all. Karl says not to do exactly what the democrats are doing to one of the GOP’s own top contenders. But hey “WHAT DOES IT MATTER!!!”

Truly, the Republican party has become the France of politics. Surrender before a shot is fired and go away in the corner to cower in fear. Vichy Rove leads the charge.

I think you're completely missing my point about eligibility; it's not about the particulars (I don't really care about the particulars), its that doubt/ambiguity exist at all.
