Who are the real thugs? (White guys with guns are the real thugs, says the author)
The Politico ^ | February 19, 2014 | Roger Simon

Let’s play a game. It’s called: “Who’s the Thug?”

It’s the day after Thanksgiving 2012, and four teenagers are sitting in a Dodge Durango outside a convenience store in Jacksonville, Fla.

The Durango is red, which is unimportant. The teenagers are black, which is important.

The teenagers are planning to try to pick up some girls later in the evening and have stopped for some gum — “so our breath would smell good,” one will later testify — and cigarettes. The teenagers are playing loud music in the Durango.

A car pulls up next to the Durango, parking very close to it. Inside is Michael Dunn, 45, a software developer, and his fiancée. Both are white. Dunn’s fiancée goes into the store while Dunn waits in the car.

The couple are coming from the wedding of Dunn’s son. They have Dunn’s 7-month-old dog with them. Dunn had two drinks at the wedding but is not “buzzed,” he will later say. He describes his mood as happy.

But the loud, throbbing music from the Durango upsets him. It is rattling his rearview mirror, he will later claim. The music, he will say, is “ridiculously, obnoxiously loud thug music” and “rap crap.”

Dunn does not change parking spaces or go inside the store to join his fiancée and escape the noise. Instead, he rolls down his window and asks the teenagers to turn down the music. “They shut it off, and I was like, ‘Thank you,’” Dunn later tells police....

If white guys are thugs then just how stupid are the racists and liberals for screwing with them?

Is loud music a violation of any kind that police could be called?

Why do these savages play their rap crap so loud? Not because they like it. Because it creates a space around them that they own and dominate. It broadcasts to the world around them that they are there.

Similar savages aren’t bothered by it. Only normal people are annoyed by it, and that is intentional.

So normal people should stay out of the savage sphere of noise. Complaining to savages does no good, in fact it makes them happy to know that it’s disturbing normal people.

Geez... they got the outcome they wanted in this case (and I agree with it)

Trayvon was a thug who got what he deserved.

This 4 kids are rude AT MINIMUM but thugs? I dont know. But they didnt deserve to have some guy come out shooting at them.

I think he got pissed, knew he had a gun, and so decided he had enough... NOT a good attitude to have as a gun owner.

Shooting at a fleeing car is NOT self-defense

Young black men: 3% of the population. 50% of the murder.

You have it right all the way. Zimmerman was defending his life when he shot someone. The four kids in the car were guilty of bad manners.

Here are pertinent facts or quotes from the continuation of the article. In additon, someone turned the radio off, but one of the kids demanded he turn it back on.
Dunn fires four shots into the Durango. The Durango pulls away. Dunn gets out of his car and aims again at the teenagers’ vehicle. “I was still scared and so I shot four more times … trying to keep their heads down to not catch any return fire. And that was it,” Dunn says later.
Police will find no shotgun or any other gun in the Durango or in the vicinity. No witness sees any shotgun or any other weapons in the Durango. When Dunn’s fiancée returns to the car, Dunn mentions the shooting but does not mention any shotgun.
The couple drive 40 miles to a bed and breakfast and relax. They order a pizza, they drink some wine and Dunn walks his dog. He learns from a report on TV that one of the teenagers in the Durango has died. He does not call police.
The next day, he and his fiancée drive 130 miles to his home in South Patrick Shores. Dunn says he “was waiting till we get around people we know” and he wanted to ensure “our dog and everybody were where they needed to be.” A witness to the shooting had called police with Dunn’s license plate number, and Dunn is arrested.
The jury undoubtedly reacted to the total disrespect for the law evidenced by this guys overall attitude. Hey, I just shot 8 times at people, let’s go to a B&B, relax, have some wine and pizza. Oh, someone died, oh well, let’s go home where it’s safe and then, maybe, call police.
I wonder if he was arrested on the way home, or how many hours he was home before arrested, and did he even have sense enough to call a lawyer to go in with him? On that jury how would you have voted?

And I suppose that makes the crack-smokin’ hoodie-wearin’ “knockout ‘game’” players noble savages?

Open your windows, crank up the volume and put on any loud classical music like the 1812 Overture with cannons.

Gets them quiet every time.

Some people refuse to victims and some don’t want to bullied and feel threatened and are tired of being afraid. This guy, along with a lot of other people are dissatisfied with the direction that our society is taking and the everyday lack of common courtesy, people acting as if their actions don’t have any consequences.
Sure, it was “music” but it represented more than that. I expect to see more of these incidents as we go deeper into the clogged toilet that is Obama’s America.

What if the shooter was a black female and she felt threatened by a car filled with white boys making lewd comments? Would she be justified in shooting it up?

This article was written by Roger Simon.

Roger Simon is a worthless piece of human garbage.

Therefore, it is logical to conclude that this article I s not worth reading.

Yeah, crazy stupid. But I was there working corrections during the height of the crack shootouts so I didn’t care.

55 people were shot and killed within 10 blocks of the facility I supervised in 1 year.

My little 2 1/2” Smith Model 19 was a good companion.

My response to the window rattling thumpa-thumpa mobile rap emitter is to encourage them to crank it ever higher. I already have hearing loss from time spent on the range and working the pyro board at metal concerts, so I will gleefully egg them on. It seems to amuse them to have an old bald white guy grinning maniacally and gesturing for “MORE dbs”. On one memorable occasion outside a Fiesta Food store in west Houston I managed to goad a carful of urban utes into blowing their subwoofer. I gave them a chagrined look when the telltale buzz started, and I laughed all the way home.

If I pulled up next to a SUV loaded w/teens or if they pulled up next
to me with their music blasting I would either tolerate it for a short
time or move. In the case of Dunn I believe that he might have
thought that access to his handgun provided him with enough extra
balls to risk angering a carload of young black males. Not smart
at the very least IMO.

Yes, which has nothing to do with the Trayvon Martin case.
