BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN (Feb 23, 2014): The Brunei government will ban the use of 19 Islamic words, including "Allah" and "masjid", by non-Muslims, according to the Brunei Times today.

The ban will take effect from April, the paper said.

Under the Syariah Penal Code Order, these words cannot be used with respect to other religions.

They are azan; baitullah; Al Quran; Allah; fatwa; Firman Allah; hadith; haji; hukum syara'; ilahi; Ka'bah; kalimah al syahadah; kiblat; masjid; imam; mufti; mu'min; solat; and wali.

The Brunei Times quoted Hardifadhillah Mohd Salleh, a senior syariah legal officer of the Islamic Legal Unit as telling staff of the Industry and Primary Resources Ministry on key parts of the order during a briefing.

He also said certain provisions of the order also apply to non-Muslims, such as zina (adultery) with a Muslim partner, drinking alcohol in a public place, and khalwat (close proximity) with a Muslim partner.

A “moderate” Muslim is one who ran out of ammo.

The world’s intelligence is inversely proportional to the number of imams extant.

let’s just nip it in the bud and ban all muslims, period.

just get em the hell back to their sacred holy lands and never let em come back. why the hell do we need them here? they just cause trouble. they just wait until the numbers are large enough to start demanding things and start breaking the law with less fear of being punished.

"and apparently Charles Barkley wants to ban white people from saying “thug” and “street cred”

Barkley often makes sense when other black celebrities don't, but he whiffed on this one. To cite just one example, for years unruly British soccer fans - mostly white - have been called "thugs." There's even a book about it - "Among the Thugs."

Makes me wonder if this religion was founded somewhere in Satan’s bowels.....

Yeah.

Real Prophets climb mountains to be closer to God.

They don't crawl into holes to listen to the hissings of The Serpent.

In the 1970` s and before, the Burqha was never seen there nor in Brunei. What we are witnessing today there is a new , A NEW form of imported dress code Islam for Indonesia which they never had before.

But there was always persecution , rapes, killing of Christians there for hundreds of years, burning of churches even til now-

Only the dress code and speech restrictions are new.
Everything else is the same: from the devil.

from my Indo sources 1944-1972.

Thinking about who would be affected?

Baha’i, and oddly enough, Christian and Jewish bibles in Arabic translation (they all use Allah).

As customary, Christians are odd man out.

But, anybody can talk of jihads. I guess that didn’t make the list.
