Analysis:Why Hillary Clinton could bury the Republican presidential field

So. Hillary Clinton, then. The next president of the United States?

Well, let's see: her closest rival for her own party's nomination is Joe Biden, and a recent poll suggests Clinton has a 61-point lead over the rather mawkish vice-president.

The same poll gives her a 65-point edge over the next most mentioned Democratic contender, Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren.

There are other possibilities, most of them in the same league. That makes Clinton the highest-rated Democratic front-runner ever.

It is just as it was in the run up to 2008. But then came Barry and everything changed. We will see how it works out this time around.

Hillary made tons of mistakes in 2008 along with Bill. I doubt highly she will run an organized campaign like she did in 2008.

It is just as it was in the run up to 2008.

Not quite. This time they can't run against Bush and they have to run away from Obama. And how Hillary claims she has nothing to do with Obama's awful economy and policy is hard to fathom, even though I know the press will act like she was frozen in amber the whole time, was just thawed and is appalled at what she sees and ready to fix it all.

The GOP will mess it up, of course, by nominating some RINO loser who tries to win by running yet another reincarnation of the Thomas Dewey campaign of 1948.

Because of an ignorant group of voters. Anyone with half a brain knows Hillary is worthless.

Through entitlements, the breakdown of the family, infestation of the schools and universities with hardcore left “ideals” and de facto ownership of the “media,” the dems have cobbled together the unshakeable majority they needed. This is a structural, rather than transitory advantage.

It’s only unshakable because the GOP has been running lousy candidates and lousy campaigns.

There is a populist opening a mile wide for the GOP to campaign on but they continue to be shackled by their Chamber of Cronies donors and conservative for pay consultants. That stuff really has nothing to do with the Dems.

If the GOP doesn’t get their act together they will lose again. Not because the Dems have a great candidate but because people will find no reason to support the GOP.

barring a miracle...

The only "miracle" we need is for the ptb in the Republican Party stop working for a hillary presidency. Ted Cruz is smarter, more appealing, and able to make the case for constitutional conservative policies.

We win if we can beat the RNC, the Chamber of Commerce, and the beyond disgusting backstabbers, particularly in the US Senate.

Hillary is the authentic Miss Piggy. Born in the chinese year of the pig, Hillary has the same false bravado as Miss Piggy. Unfortunately for Hillary, her Kermie self destructed at Fort Marcie Park, years ago.

Brave Miss Piggy trudges on, uphill towards her trough in the sun. Her fans adore her. Her husband loathes her. And she is going to be our next president.

Time to invest in barf bags.

Yeah, that's been my thought. She can dye her hair roots dark, but she still looks like she's auditioning for "Weekend at Bernie's, 2016". I can already picture her wheeling herself into debates wearing her Dr. Strangelove glasses.

Clintonbots are putting out these stories.

Just like the Christiebots, the JBushbots, the Romneybots, the Huckabeebots, etc., are pushing articles favoring their candidate-of-choice.

Such articles are just propaganda — my selected candidate is the only one who can win.

A funny thing happened on Hillary’s last trip to her coronation.

They didn’t dump hillary. They had two strong candidates and obama won. It’s hillary’s turn. She is poised to win in 2016 unless Republicans can get their act together and rally around a strong candidate. There is a huge opportunity to take out Hillary but only by a strong candidate. Cruz is strong enough. Could he pull in enough moderates and independents? Not sure about that part. He is the shot I see right now.

The FBI files Craig Livingston got were nothing but a ruse to divert attention away from completely different FBI files, that would be the 15,000 FBI files Janet Reno said she would release if she was confirmed as Attorneys General but instead of releasing the files she fired all the US Attorneys to cover up what was in the files and save not only herself, but the dem party.

Nobody raised any questions about Reno’s firing of the US Attorneys and the FBI files because they were too busy paying attention to the Clintons killing 80 people at Waco.

When Vince Foster started spilling his guts about the firing of the USA’s, he ended up belly up.

BTW Obamas justice dept. is in the process of compiling another 15-20,000 FBI files for little Miss Psycho Hillary to use, not just threaten to use, but use.

Just curious.

If the FBI files were a threat against republicans as you seem to believe, just why did the democrats fall into lockstep to support Bill Clinton during his impeachment?

Are the dems such good people they voted in lockstep to support Clinton so Hillary wouldn’t release the files and destroy the republicans as you believe would happen?

Or perhaps the FBI files aren’t files damaging to republicans as is commonly believed, but are in fact files damaging to dems.

You’re right, and VA is no longer competitive in any meaningful sense of the word. People truly believe in HRC, and I don’t think we can do a thing about it. Much of it is the celebrity worshipper aspect of the uninformed American people.

They kind of dumped Hillary 1.0 as soon as Obama looked viable. Had he not done well or better than expected in the Iowa Caucus and taken out the Boy Wonder (John Edwards), some of Hillary 1.0’s supporters would have stuck with her. But as they say, the rest is history. I recall how many on the Rat side dropped Hillary 1.0 and swooned over to Obama at the snap of the fingers. Typical groupie like behavior.

In order for the GOP to take out Hillary 1.0 and early, the typical has beens like the Huckster, Santorum, et.al need to not even think about running. No more of the like of Herman Cain and other people who’s egos get pumped up thanks to Talk Radio. Is Cruz cut from this cloth? I really don’t know. But I do agree he would not back down from Hillary 2.0 nor her media minions which would be a change from the last two the GOP has put into the cage. The wise thing would be to let that strong bench of Governors battle it out and pick the last two standing as a ticket.

The GOP is going to have to learn to neutralize narratives or flat out disprove them with action. You get two on a ticket who are not from our publicity whore part of the party, then we have a better than good shot at winning. Who that is, I don’t know? But he and she are out there.
