I miss the days when America’s enemies were communists - in particular communists who did not live in our White House.

That leaves one battalion to handle Russia, Iran, Syria, Egypt.” he said.

Well now we see where Inhofe would like to see our troops.

They’d have been better off saying, “Nature hates a vacuum. When the US steps out, Iran, North Korea, Venezuela, Cuba, China, Russia, and others step in.”

And the headline is distorted in that none called for a return to the Cold War.

Using the term wistfully look back is weird, butbwhat he said, below, is true and makes sense.

“I look back wistfully at the Cold War,” Inhofe said Thursday at a breakfast meeting with reporters. “There were two superpowers, they knew what we had, we knew what they had, mutually assured destruction meant something. It doesn’t mean anything anymore. Now we have these people who are not rational, not logical, they’re nuts.”

The Obama administration’s foreign policy is no longer based on predictable calculations of actions and reactions by rational actors, he said. Now the administration is depending on the promises of actors from enemy countries to maintain world stability, which is dangerous, according to Inhhofe.

“In this administration, we trust all these people,” he said, referring to the leaders in Russia, China, and North Korea. “It’s a real scary situation and we kid ourselves when we think we can trust them.”

He already surrendered but now he's trying to make our military as impotent as he is. If a war flares up two years from now our men will be training with broomsticks and pickup trucks. Our military was so unprepared for WWII it had to train with props because it didn't have enough guns and tanks. That's where this traitor wants to take us again. I don't think we will have the time to build ourselves back up like we did in WWII.

As far as the quotes go, I agree.

Obama’s foreign policy attitude on the subject is a totally and completly Marxist dictum, that when it comes to America as a superpower - it should not be. It’s a retreat.

Things are pretty bad when you are wishing you had an enemy.

Exactly WHAT freedom do they think we're defending?

A cold war means we're defending something... I have to assume these blowhards feel the freedom to live well in Washington DC - high on the hog - and on the taxpayers dime - is worth fighting for... (not for their sons and daughters - but for ours...)

If it's ours - and they call for help from someplace like Benghazi - the elites let then die. That's worth fighting for? For that we should have a cold war?

Maybe freedom from thugs like those in the IRS who target conservatives? Too late for that...

Free from left-wing politicians who define ‘terrorists’ as 'traditional Americans' who believes in God?

Or freedom from illegals voting and diluting my vote?

Nope. They don't care about my freedoms. And I don't care about theirs.

Sorry, I'm not quite sure what these people are talking about... Maybe these politicians should defend themselves... and quit asking the American people to do it for them. Or they should start acting like custodians of the Constitution and protectors of the people of the United States.
