Nothing fake about Bowman's blue collar. He punched a time card today.
We won't be hearing any stories about how his daddy worked 26 hours per day in the mine to put him through law school so he could pretend to be a regular guy.

I am appalled by this passing the seat in Congress on by family lines. The is the US and we rejected any hereditary peerage more than 200 years ago. Apparently not that particular district in Michigan. Daddy Dingle held that seat from 1933 to 1955. Another 10 terms and they will have held it for a century.

For her age (early 60s), I'd say she's attractive.
This is another recent pic in a more candid setting.

Is Debbie the ‘trophy wife’, or the second wife after the first one died? He’s quite a bit older than she.

I've been voting against these two for more years than I can count. I've never run into Mr. Conyers, but crossed paths with Mr. Dingell several times at the Henry Ford President's dinner.
Each time he seemed a lonely man. None of the pinons like me wanted to say a word to him and neither did I. I've observed from a distance, chatting easily with everyone else that for whatever reason everyone knows who he is, but not many bother. What does that say about being an elitist?
I'll answer myself; my theory is even in a roomfull of Dems, and people who vote for this BS congressman, nobody wants to be involved with him. His element is far removed from the regular folks.

I think he threw a tantrum at a townhall meeting about Obamacare a couple of years ago and said the constitution doesn’t matter, congress does what they want.

The Dingell Family Plantation has been in operation since ~1933.

The guy is creepy and everyone knows it. Why vote for him or his wife? Tradition? Good way to ruin the country.
Go Terry Bowman!

If only it were Henry Bowman.

I’ve been a conservative for longer than I was a Dem. But even way back then I wanted new blood. The votes I’ve tallied against the names Levin, Dingell and Conyers should really entitle me to some sort of reward, not seeing those names on the ballot would just about do,
To: taildragger
I would like to see Terry take the seat but I don’t think he is aware that the name Dingell was carved into that chair many years ago.

"Its a Michigan 'all in the family' thing. The Levin brothers have been in office forever too. Combover Carl since 78, Sander since 83."
That's something in common with North Korea and probably just as beneficial.

Sort of, but they’ve been married over 30 yrs.
She’s been a GM executive/lobbyist for much of that time based in DC.
They truly are a DC power couple.
It’s not like she’s going from career housewife to running for office, a very experienced and savvy lobbyist.
