Add “vacation-destroyer” to the list of unflattering barbs being hurled at Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The ongoing crisis between Ukraine and Russia has placed President Obama’s family vacation plans in jeopardy, according to a new report.
Obama and the First Lady were scheduled to head to Miami on Friday for an event focusing on education, Politico reported, and the couple’s daughters were planning to join them afterward for a weekend trip in the area.
But, due to the continuing international crisis sparked by Russia’s troops moving into Ukraine’s Crimean peninsula, the first family may have to cancel their trip.
“The President had planned to stay in South Florida with his family for the remainder of the weekend,” White House spokesman Josh Earnest told Politico. “However, it is possible the President may return to the White House on Friday as events unfold in Ukraine.”
Tensions in Eastern Europe rose Thursday after Obama signed an executive order that gave the U.S. the ability to freeze the assets of certain Russian and Ukrainian individuals and companies.
Earlier in the day, Crimea’s parliament voted to join Russia, with the Moscow-backed government setting a referendum on the decision in 10 days.

O and company have completely failed at foreign policy, and Putin has them in a corner. All they are doing/will do is run their mouth about things they know nothing about and look like fools.

Most of us should be pleased that these criminal grifters aren’t on yet another vacay in our communities.
Personally I rather have Vlady as President fill in
But I doubt they’ll cancel his upcoming trip to Saudi Arabia, or her trip to China.
Is that their Spring Break? The only place I ever went on Spring Break was to stay in the town where I was in school because I didn’t have the money to travel back home. It might do these grifters some good to do a staycation for once, like the rest of us have to do.
