At least 28 Senate Democrats plan to spend hours Monday night and early Tuesday speaking on the Senate floor in a push for congressional action on climate change.
It's a strategy that's been in the works for several months, organized by Sens. Barbara Boxer (D-Calif.), Brian Schatz (D-Hawaii) and Sheldon Whitehouse (D-R.I.), who've been seeking to raise awareness about their concerns on and off the Senate floor.
Adopting a strategy used in the past year by some Senate Republicans, the Democrats will begin speaking Monday night after a series of votes and continue until about 9 a.m. Tuesday, according to Senate aides. The event will mark the third late-night Senate session of the past year, but the first prompted by Democrats. Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) led a filibuster last spring that lasted into the late-night hours, while Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Tex.) steered a 21-hour filibuster-style exchange before the government shutdown last fall

My guess is Barbara Boxer.
Climate Change is racist!
“If a Boxer talks in the forest, does anyone care?”
If they are going to be serious about it, wouldn’t they turn out the lights and talk in the dark? :)
(snicker)
Will Algore come release his 2nd chakra?
Just don’t show up! haha
I’d pay good money for someone to release polar bears on them, and lock the doors.
But at least they’ve “done something,” and shown they have “good intentions.” /sarc Morons.
By candle light?
Better headline...
Democrats to Blow Hot Air for Global Warming
They already did that one. They say it has a disproportionate impact on minorities.
LOL!
TWO intelligent conservatives began a conservative revolution in 24 hours on their own.
TWENT-TWO stupid liberals will FAIL attempting a cheap imitation.
Ding, ding, ding!
We have a winner!!!
Another thief in the night action??
Considering all the hot air these morons intend to expel, the temperature should rise by a considerable figure and congress will soon feel like a prehistoric rain forest.
Not at all inappropriate, given how many dinosaurs are employed there.
It will not, of course, have one iota of impact on the global environment - such changes exist only in the minds of congressmen hoping for votes from envirowackos and scientists slavering as they wait in line for science grants.
All a political charade for an issue in the midterms.
Fine. Just take them at their word and shut off the heat for the building. Gets pretty chilly, long about 3 a.m.
Wait, I said something...spot on?
*Horrified*
The world is ending!
And it’s all my fault!
*Aaaaaaugh!*
/ kidding.
