According to one estimate, since 2012 the Department of Homeland Security has stockpiled more than 1.6 billion bullets, mainly .40 caliber and 9mm. DHS also reportedly purchased 2,700 Mine Resistant Armor Protected Vehicles (MRAPs) to go with their bullet stockpile.
ATK is one company that won a contract with the Department of Homeland Security to provide 450 million rounds of .40 caliber ammunition in 2012.
TSA, an agency within the DHS, purchased 3.5 million rounds of .357 SIG caliber training ammunition in September.
Recently TSA purchased 1,386 pounds of dynamite to go with their ammo. The Activist Post reported:
Put this in the What in the hell are they thinking? category, but the Department of Homeland Securitys (DHS) protectors of the friendly skies, the Transportation Safety Administration (TSA) has submitted another request for high explosives via the Federal Business Online website today, and has issued a Limited Source Justification for three businesses to provide the material: Hallowell Manufacturing LLC, Omni Explosives Inc, and Tripwire Operations Group.

Evidently preparing for war.
Recently TSA purchased 1,386 pounds of dynamite to go with their ammo.
Just what we needed -- 1,386 more reasons NOT to climb aboard a US flight.
Why would the TSA, who focuses on groping women and children boarding planes and some buses, need dynamite?
Either that, or just preparing to blow up Tea Party and conservative's homes, or preparing for a major gun grab.
_____Why would the TSA, who focuses on groping women and children boarding planes and some buses, need dynamite?-——
A false flag type operation....?
Can’t find explosives on white Christian males that the left is soooo certain must be there that they’ll plant some?
And doubly possible a ff operation.
That’s certainly interesting, what are the possible uses the TSA could have for that product and that quantity? I could see small quantities as useful for training search dogs, calibrating electronic sensors designed to detect such things, or perhaps for EOD work.
Unless I’m mistaken, I don’t work in the industry and don’t handle things likely to turn me into pink mist, but I’m under the impression that most construction work done in modern America doesn’t use the old style dynamite products, and only really uses them as boosters to get cheaper and more stable earth-moving and rock shattering explosives to reliably detonate. If I saw a private construction company purchasing that I’d read it as likely 2,000 booster charges for a hell of a lot more than 1,300 pounds of actual explosives.
The dynamite is for their self destruction. With the incompetence I have seen so far, I fully expect it will earn them several Darwin Awards!!
Let's all not forget the 600 million (If memory serves) MRE's they bought a year or so ago. Well survival foods. I remember that some manufacturers had to halt sales to all other parties to meet the order from the DHS.
These entities are all part of the same federal monster. The TSA has room in its budget for more weapon buying. It will share all tools with its (federal) self when needed.
Remember they hire mostly felons.
“Contact false positive” and “area aerosol false positive” for starters.
Kaboom eventually, but of what?
And Muslims too.
> Kaboom eventually, but of what?
Given their demonstrated competence I can hazard a guess.
Will they be blowing up bridges so people can't bug-out if/when they declare Martial Law?
357 Sig is so hot it will exit the brick wall from the building it which it is fired and penetrate the brick wall into the adjacent building.
Probably they need this hot ammo to shoot the people who do not show their papers fast enough, get their liquids out fast enough, or take shoes off fast enough, or get computer out fast enough, metals off, jacket off, into the X-ray and back scatter death inspection, or for Americans who submit too slowly to the gonad crotch grope. Obviously these balking tea partying American travelers need to be immediately shot with the hottest pistol load possible and the the dynamite can be used to blow them to smithereens for good measure.
What dip shit moron is wasting taxpayer money on such ordinance?
Like the MANPADS, these are going to go to Islamic
terrorists chosen by the First Moslem Tyrant by Fraud.
Now who was in control when TSA and DHS and the Patriot Act were put in place?
Would it be a grand conspiracy if TSA was the only other “military” that had ammunition and equipment to wage war against a Soviet invasion?
That Obama all along was a Russian mole that would allow Russia to walk right into Central America or even Mexico?
Seems to me Russia may very well waltz right into Venezuela, take over completely, starts sending troops and equipment and all Obama does is just does his golfing thing to be...flexible?
But I still believe the TSA is trying to create its own police state myself, while Obama goes golfing.
“No virgins for you!”
My guess is to blow something up.
Perhaps TSA is planning to ADD the dynamite to
luggage all across the USA, and ALL AT ONE TIME,
on the green light from the DO”J”/DNC/alQAEDA/MB-central?
Now that makes sense. Nothing surprises me.
Isn’t it strange not even Cruz or Palin has asked in front of a microphone what the purpose of these purchases is?
Why is that?
> Evidently preparing for war.
Nah its just to destroy the remains of the dissenters after they disarm the citizens.../s
When Zero declares himself president for life, there could be lot of turmoil in the country.
They really think that will be of any use in a future when everything in government is computer dependent? When the grid goes out, it’s over.
Let us prey for a long hot Summer and failed A/c in the bunker...
A little sweating may help things along. :)
>>Evidently preparing for war.
With dynamite? Are they planning a train robbery?
No, this is for a future false flag op against the American people.
Perhaps like you and I, this is the first they’ve ever heard of it.
Dynamite will be used as a plant when they arrest targeted people so they can charge them with domestic terrorism
Dynamite? Why—so they can go “Clint Eastwood” in an authorized home invasion scenario?
Or, are they planning for Kiev-style barricades?
Or does someone have some stumps in their yard?
Hmmmm - sounds to me like they are just trying to influence the Nobel peace prize committee...
That one actually makes sense according to DHS's original charter (disaster relief). Getting food and water into areas hit by things like Katrina, or earthquake, or tornados QUICKLY is (or should be)"Job 1".
Not groping grandma.
The BATFE should investigate why the DHS needs dynamite. That would be a hoot. After that, both organizations should be disbanded and what few legitimate functions they have should be turned over to the FBI.
Another crazy globalist.
1,980 sticks of dynamite to train 800 canine...seems reasonable...
A completely new additional reason to watch what they do very carefully when they grope you at the airport.
Just stockpiling for Obama's civilian (private army) armed forces which he openly admitted as part of his plans of transforming our country. The pieces of the puzzle are on the table, the problem is that not many want to start putting the pieces together for fear of seeing what the finished picture looks like. It's as, if you don't look a it, it isn't there..................
On the plus side, imagine the hilarity of trying to train TSA agents to use dynamite.
They should issue them cyanide capsules as well, to swallow if they might be captured by the Tea Party or Christians or somebody like that.
Why? Like with so much else the federals do, it is “because we can, and nobody can stop us.”
Just exactly (that means truthful) how was that purchase justified and for what means?
That's just goofy. Dynamite? Why not C4, if they want to blow something...
shhhh...you'll upset the hero worshippers.
They can legitimately claim they require ammo for “training” and then get into a disagreement about how much of it is needed based on annual consumption rates for said training. I don’t agree with their purchase but there is a need to replenish ammo for real purposeful uses.
But how much TNT are they consuming annually while they “train”?
Its certainly not anything they are using annually to do anything with so they need to be forced to describe the justification for ANY TNT.
We should be wise to think the worse about their intentions until they have a legitimate use and need for TNT.
