If she is told that she is too toned, she should take it as a compliment, put the dang t-shirt on and continue working out. If she was intimidating others, I shutter to think what the other female patrons looked like. And yes, it was definitely a female complaining because, believe me, there is no man in the world who would complain about a woman being overly toned...

I like the one with Sean Astin but this is truer to the short story.

That’s exactly what I was thinking when I saw her picture. It depends on what you’re definition of “toned” is. I think it’s a rouse to get attention, myself.

What you're describing is not a gym. It's an activity center for perpetually aggrieved adolescents. I do hope they sterilize the bars for you.

I would rather look at a toned person then a fat slob.

At my gym she would be average in looks, body tone, and attire.

Same thing I was going to say “That’s toned?”

well, I would say that this woman is attractive, and easy on the eyes.
I’ve seen more skimpy outfits at my gym. But I don’t know their particular dress code. Just saying, this outfit doesn’t seem too skimpy to me. But then females working out may have different opinions of this other female.

I’ve been to a few women’s gyms where the woman working there to assist with the workouts is a fat slob. I didn’t think it was good advertisement for the program, but I thought maybe they were afraid of discrimination suits if they didn’t hire them.
So maybe they didn’t want to intimidate the clientele? That just doesn’t make any sense. People should look at someone in good shape as motivation.

I agree. Woman at the gym can be catty. Most of the rich woman can look at her and be nasty because they are so frumpy.
