The Freedom Tower, Americas top terror target, doesnt have a single working surveillance camera inside a stunning security lapse that let a New Jersey teen roam the top floors undetected for two hours, The Post has learned.
The video system for 1 World Trade Center wont be operational until the building opens later this year, said a source familiar with the security plan.
That means there is no footage of Justin Casquejo, 16, as he slipped by a sleeping guard to the antenna of the 1,776-foot-tall building Sunday morning.
This place has a big bulls-eye on it, and I dont even want to think what could have happened if it was somebody with bad intentions, said a hardhat at the site Thursday.

Of course there are no cameras Jeb Bush and his people are pre rigging the structure to be imploded so he can start a war
Sounds like my job site.
They believe in swiss cheese and good wishes.
There are so many holes in the perimeter that it isn’t funny.
Beautifully illustrated the night a Times Herald Record reporter kept trying to gain access to the building after an ambulance call.
He got in after walking through the sidelot through the trees, and an employee let him into the building.
Its an unfinished building - are security cameras necessary for a cement and steel shell with windows on it?
The complexity and cost of America’s security state and obsession is going to be our downfall.
Happened the first time too. Movie called “Man On Wire”. Netflix has it.
Cameras would be for the perimeter at ground level and first floor.
One isn’t supposed to be able to just walk into an active construction site after hours.
It isn’t really about “security” actually, it’s about “Litigation and liability”.
With the exception of sleeping guards, there is not suppose to be anyone there so why have camera’s?
I’m not sure how cameras would prevent an airplane from crashing into it.
Here’s a video that scares the crap outa me.
Breathtaking video_ Daredevils skywalk world’s 2nd-tallest tower in Shanghai
Scaling 121 stories of steel girders takes nerves of steel, as two unflappable daredevils - a Russian and a Ukrainian - recently proved by climbing Shanghai Tower, world’s 2nd-tallest tower, and filming the vertiginous ordeal

Bushs fault.
From an insurance perspective (arson, vandalism, etc) you might think they’d be a matter of due diligence.

We all would like to think that we all are building a country and we're all on the same side and nobody's going to hurt us, because this is our country and we all want the same things.
Reality is, however, on a different page.
It’s not the complexity and/or cost, but the waste and the misapplication.
I don’t think that Washington believed that everyone in the USA was “on the same side”. That’s why he advocated a constant war readiness.
Movie about a Frenchman that walked between the Twin Towers, in 1974.

I saw him in 1970 in Paris.
Hmmmm.....
I certainly would like to believe that we are all on the same side.
On my road, I drive by a power substation, and lots of cable-TV boxes, and telephone cables/boxes and a bridge.
I would like to believe that they are safe, because nobody would want to destroy the infrastructure for the people on my road.
Reality is, however, on a different page.
I wouldn’t like to believe something that can never be true. That particular belief is endemic to the stereotypical “kumbaya liberal”.
