The bodies of thousands of aborted and miscarried babies were incinerated as clinical waste, with some even used to heat hospitals, an investigation has found.
Ten NHS trusts have admitted burning foetal remains alongside other rubbish while two others used the bodies in waste-to-energy plants which generate power for heat.
Last night the Department of Health issued an instant ban on the practice which health minister Dr Dan Poulter branded totally unacceptable.
At least 15,500 foetal remains were incinerated by 27 NHS trusts over the last two years alone, Channel 4s Dispatches discovered.
The programme, which will air tonight, found that parents who lose children in early pregnancy were often treated without compassion and were not consulted about what they wanted to happen to the remains.

Exactly. Progressive hypocrisy on parade. Again.
I agree with you both. The relevant issue is the killing of babies, not how their little bodies are disposed of. These supposed horror stories about bodies in jars or dumpsters are disgusting, but not particularly relevant.
The article is also factually incorrect. Baby corpses are not being “used to heat hospitals.” Due to the high percentage of moisture in a human corpse, cremation or incineration consumes a lot more energy than is generated. It’s a net energy loss, not gain.
They would have no moral problem with it. They are more then willing to kill unborn or born babies, and anyone else they just say the moon death god wills it and swing their swords away.
But they have no real need for abortion. When a woman gets an unwanted pregnancy they just kill the woman for being a filthy whore and that ends the pregnancy.
wow... could the optics be any worse
“How do muslims feel about abortion? I dont recall seeing anything about their beliefs.”
They think that at four months the fetus is a living soul and that abortion thereafter is murder.

Here are some excerpts from a Moslem site:
“The Qur’an teaches that on the Day of Judgement parents who killed their children will be under trial for that crime, and their children will be witnesses against them (see Qur’an 81:8-9).”
“The right to life is God-given. No human should take away that right. The general rule, therefore, is that abortion is not permitted in Islam. However, Islam is a very practical religion. It includes principles to deal with exceptional cases. One such principle is that when a pregnancy threatens the life of the mother, an abortion may be performed. Although the lives of both mother and child are sacred, in this case it is better to save the principal life, the life of the mother. Even in this case, it would be better if the abortion is done before the foetus is 120 days old, for that is when the soul is breathed into the foetus. Islam does not permit abortion in other cases.”
“Women who have been victims of rape or incest naturally deserve sympathy and help. But a child conceived in this unfortunate manner still has a right to live.”

I think many of them would regard the practices at this hospital as going beyond desecration and into sorcery.
You can call it a high temp oven, furnace, incinerator, or thermal oxidizer. Some things have to be incinerated(1600-1800 degrees), and some things can go to a hazardous waste landfill. But you want to keep this type of stuff out of the municipal landfill. And to save money, some of this stuff can be incinerated at a cement kiln rather than a hazardous waste incinerator.
On this particular issue, what is the protocol or regulation dealing with a blastocyst, an embryo, a fetus, or a stillborn child?
What do they do with used syringes. What does a hospital, a doctor, a dentist, or a veterinarian do with bloody gauze?
What does a GM auto plant do with their dirty solvent? What does Bubba's body shop do with his dirty solvent? What does Halliburton do with their fracking waste?
How much cheating is going on? How much does it cost to dispose of this stuff. Its expensive. Not just the cost of disposal, but also the cost of record keeping. Whether it is medical waste or industrial waste, a lot of it gets diverted and dumped. Its not uncommon to find large numbers of syringes washed up on the shore of the local lake. Its not uncommon for a body shop or a dentist to throw their hazardous waste into the dumpster and it ends up in the muny dump.
The smell of burning babies is sweetness to the nostrils of the god of Liberalism.
They either recycle the water or inject it in a well. They don't burn it.
And not all fracing waste gets disposed of properly. Some of it gets dumped.
Sometimes we just change the name of a process. There is not any difference in burning human remains in a medical waste incinerator and cremation.
This is heartbreaking!
I think there is--not to the remains, but to those who handle human remains. We're not talking about a tumor cut out, or a limb that could not be saved, but the remains of a human being (or someone, given the chance, would have been walking and among us.
When we revere the mortal remains of other humans, we also show respect for life. When we cast them aside as so much waste, we'll be burying the dead in mass graves or landfills with the trash.
As we respect those who have passed, we respect their descendents, the living.
It is a slippery slope.

When liberalism (abortion advocacy) meets liberalism (environmentalism), you get liberalism squared, the parabolic acceleration of progressive ideology. To the political left, this is nirvana. This is utopia. This is the logical, wholesome, holy ideal. This is the sacrament of abortion meeting the pagan concept of a burnt offering. This is not an accident, this is by design.
