GARY, Ind. - Federal agents raided a northwestern Indiana township trustee's office Thursday, although they stayed mum on the reasons for the raid.
FBI agents were joined with officers from the Indiana State Police and the IRS in a sweep of Calumet Township Trustee Mary Elgin's office in Gary on Thursday.
Call 6 Investigator Kara Kenny found a 2011 audit of the trustee's office that raised concerns about the township's finances, including nine employees with take-home cars.

She needs the repubs to win big in November so they can take the blame for all the screw ups for 2 years.
Hillary especially needs a repub win if she runs third party on her “Third Way” idea that both parties are equally bad.
What the heck is going on? Have they decided their only hope is to start cracking down because dims will lose big and then there will be others in charge? Have they decided that the dims are a huge threat to the republic and if they don’t act now all is lost?
