When you get what you want, you find out its not what you need. That is what Millennials are experiencing right now as the liberal program they voted for in 2008 and 2012 is being implemented. [ ]
Millennials are now seeing an America they cannot thrive in. The trillion-dollar stimulus and out of control government spending ushered in by liberal politicians produced few shovel ready jobs, while leaving per capita debt at $52,948. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the 2013 labor force participation rate of those in their twenties has hit the lowest level on record since 1981. Furthermore, since President Obama took office the number of twenty-somethings who were not in the labor force in an average month climbed from 8,756,000 to 10,511,00, an increase of 20 percent. It is now the highest ever recorded.

The literal meaning of "liberal" is lover of liberty which by definition means an absence of government force. Let's quit calling 'em what they aren't and start calling 'em what they are.
But the GOPe leadership seems to putting all its effort into attacking Conservatives and propping up Big Government.
The best thing they can do is to stay home during the elections. They are too stupid to know what’s good for them and they’ll continue to vote for Dims no matter what.
“Liberal” has meant anti-Constitution for a number of decades now; it’s not inaccurate.
I am really into Ronald Reagan Quotes today. : )
Dee-lish article. Now we have to hope these millenials remember to re-register to vote their RATS out of office.
I'd sure like to see where each dollar went. I'm sure the media would be on it, too, if the President who spent all that money for nothing was a Repub.
Thanks Olog-hai. Hey, they could just work for Tina Fey.
But I'm in favor of unconfusing things where possible. We are living in an Orwellian age where the Left twists the actual meaning of the words, like "liberal" which has the classic meaning of "liberty" ("lib" being the root).
Anyway, I'm in favor wherever possible, of influencing fellow lovers of freedom to avoid words like "liberal" because of the popular confusion between it's actual meaning versus how it's used. Seems like things like "socialist" nails it.
Boehner backed out of Ritz Carlton event for anti-tea party PAC

Boehner was in preliminary talks to join fellow House members at a $5,000-a-head event hosted by The Republican Main Street Partnership PAC before deciding not to appear due to a reputed scheduling conflict. The event will reportedly be attended by $5,000 donors to the PAC, which sells $5,000 tickets to its events on its website.
Does anyone know the House Reps who are attending?
millennial politics ping
That’s exactly what Romney said. “Obama is a good person whose policies aren’t working.” That didn’t turn out too well.
I believe $350,000,000 dollars went missing from Bush’s TARP program, too. Both parties cash in.
But they will know (not think, KNOW) homosexuality is good and evil republicans oppose it and want to starve old people and make people drink dirty water.
Ask them what the “Hitler Youth” movement was and they won't know, or how it applies to the indoctrination they are getting (instead of knowledge or wisdom to think for themselves)
Yeah...that whole Nazi thing is so yesterday.
The difference the liberals have grown up in liberal land and the only solution to liberal failures is more liberalism. Look at the idiots with enormous college debt. They don’t say, “Hey, maybe I should stop spending so much and go to a less prestigious college and learn engineering, I’m going to keep getting student loans, master in what I really love like Gender Studies racking up 100s of thousands of dollars in debt. Then, I’m going to vote for the liberal who promises to forgive the student loan debt and bail my ass out.”
What unemployable liberal is going to vote for someone who tells them they are responsible for themselves?

You can say that again, Americans in general are becoming amazingly careless with language. My wife is no liberal but she is one of the worst, quite often if she asks me a question I have to conduct an interrogation to figure out what she is really asking me before I can answer. Her idea of telling me where to find something is to wave a hand in the general direction and say, “Right over there.” There may be forty seven different cubby holes, “Right over there” but according to her I am supposed to know exactly what she is telling me. Or she may say something like, “It’s in the drawer by the....”
My Mom used to tell me “Be careful what you wish for because you might just get it.” Sadly, I proved her correct far too many times.
