WASHINGTON (Reuters) - A massive magnitude 8.0 earthquake on Tuesday off the coast of Chile, near the mining port of Iquique, sparked a tsunami warning for all of Latin America's Pacific coast, the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center said.
"An earthquake of this size has the potential to generate a destructive tsunami that can strike coastlines near the epicenter within minutes and more distant coastlines within hours," it said.

Global Warming causes the ice to melt.
The melting ice adds water to the oceans.
The extra water is extra weight.
The extra weight is extra pressure.
Pushing down on the tectonic plates.
Pushing down on the plates makes them move.
When the plates move it causes an earthquake.
Which causes a tsunami.
Which really is just the ocean’s way of getting rid of all of that extra water. That is caused by global warming.
It’s all very scientific.
I must have been looking at a different map than you saw.
I would not suggest you use them as hunting dogs either. If you expect a dog to give you a warning about an earthquake it has to be a breed native to earthquake regions like a Calispaniel or even a Snouzerfornia.

Often, before a major quake, the animals will leave. The number of missing domestic animals like cats and dogs will go up, too. The animals are more sensitive to their surroundings.
