World War Two bomb kills seven in Bangkok

A suspected World War Two bomb has exploded in a Bangkok scrap yard, killing at least seven people and injuring 19.

Workers were using a blow-torch to take the bomb apart and detonated it in the process, officials say.

The Japanese hit my dad’s ship with a bomb, it didn’t blow though. So, this bomb, Thailand. Hmmn. But the poor people, really should not have fooled with this. 7 is a lot.

I’ve read where French farmers have been killed by a WW1 bomb when plowing their fields.

There was a similar accident about a month ago (I think it happened in England).

Yep but being killed when your plow strikes buried UXO is different from gathering around to watch a guy use a cutting torch to find out what's inside a bomb casing.

Ok, not the blowtorch part, but WWII bombs being discovered the hard way.
