t has been learned that one week prior to the Benghazi attacks that resulted in the deaths of four Americans, CIA Director David Petraeus met with his Turkish counterpart, Hakan Fidan. This finding, reported by Hurrieyt at the time, further bolsters brand new claims by Seymour M. Hersh, the man who broke the Abu Ghraib prison scandal story in 2004.
In early 2012, the Obama administration, along with the administration of Turkey’s Recep Tayyip Erdogan, reached an agreement that would have Turkey, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia provide funding for an operation run by then CIA Director David Petraeus (the Petraeus Operation), according to Hersh’s report. The purpose of the operation, carried out by the CIA and Great Britain’s MI6, was to move weapons from Libya into Syria, using back channel ‘rat lines’.

We need it proved.
Then, we need to show that the recipients were Al Qaeda in Syria (Al Nusra Front, etc.) We know that too, but we need proof.
Benghazi is about 0bama sending weapons to Al Qaeda. THAT'S WHY IT'S SO IMPORTANT!
Without another Snowden, it will never be proven.
Nothing is ever proven.
Especially things that nobody with the authority has the guts to put on trial.

Sorry for posting so late, but the story has new legs as Morris reported the addendum to the Senate Intelligence Report yesterday. We all knew about the gun running and knew about Turkey playing Obama with the Sarin gas. Seymour Hersh as done a good job tying the two together.
However, I am not sure Obama can be impeached. It looks as though Stevens was in front of the House Intell Committee (possibly the Senate) before the Benghazi attack. The question is did he inform the committee? I am suspicious that Boenher knew about the operation- he has refused to set up a joint select committee on the issue. It is possible that somehow McCain and Graham knew as well.
Also, Rep Mike Rogers may also have known. We also know he has a conflict because his wife, Kristi Clemens Rogers, was previously President and CEO of Aegis LLC, a contractor to the United States Department of State for intelligence-based and physical security services. Rogers is retiring

Prince Bandar has largely stayed out of Washington but held meetings with U.S. officials in the region. One was in September 2012. Sens. McCain and Graham, who were in Istanbul, met him in an opulent hotel suite on the banks of the Bosporus.
Mr. McCain said he made the case to Prince Bandar that the rebels weren’t getting the kinds of weapons they needed, and the prince, in turn, described the kingdom’s plans. The senator said that in succeeding months he saw “a dramatic increase in Saudi involvement, hands-on, by Bandar.”

That winter, the Saudis also started trying to convince Western governments that Mr. Assad had crossed what President Barack Obama a year ago called a “red line”: the use of chemical weapons. Arab diplomats say Saudi agents flew an injured Syrian to Britain, where tests showed sarin gas exposure. Prince Bandar’s spy service, which concluded in February that Mr. Assad was using chemical weapons, relayed evidence to the U.S., which reached a similar conclusion four months later. The Assad regime denies using such weapons.
After Mr. Petraeus’s November resignation over an affair, his job was handled by his deputy, Michael Morell, who privately voiced skepticism the agency could make sure any arms supplied by the U.S. wouldn’t end up with hard-line Islamists, said congressional officials.
Ultimately, the new CIA chief was John Brennan, whose closest Saudi confidant when he was White House counterterrorism adviser was also focused on the risk of inadvertently strengthening al Qaeda. Since moving to the CIA, Mr. Brennan has been in periodic contact by phone with Prince Bandar, officials said.
That means that Zero, Hillary, and Petraeus are in line for the death penalty.
Exactly right - there has to be people in The House and Senate who really know what happened here and are being pressured to “play the game” rather than get to the truth.
Let’s not forget, it’s not just a lame-duck second-term president with his fingerprints on this, but also the overwhelming favorite for the 2016 Democrat presidential nominee.
After reading this article, I can’t believe that Boehner approved the Select Committee.
Rep. Gowdy has clearly and publicly asked the question “Why is no one asking what Chris Stevens was doing in Benghazi?”
Has Boehner maneuvered and made that line of questioning off limits? Will every witness claim “National Security” and clam up?
The Main Stream Media has avoided that question like it was bubonic plague.

Shoebat’s claim to have bombed Bank Leumi in Bethlehem is rejected by members of his family who still live in the area, and Bank Leumi says it has no record of such an attack ever taking place. His relatives, members of the Shoebat family, are mystified by the notion of “Walid Shoebat” being an assumed name. And the Walid Shoebat Foundation’s working process is less than transparent, with Shoebat’s claim that it is registered as a charity in the state of Pennsylvania being denied by the Pennsylvania State Attorney’s Office. Shoebat’s claim to have been a terrorist rests on his account of the purported bombing of Bank Leumi. But after checking its files, the bank said it had no record of an attack on its Bethlehem branch anywhere in the relevant 1977-79 period. Shoebat told The Jerusalem Post that this could be because the bank building was robustly protected with steel and that the attack may have caused little damage. Asked whether word of the bombing made the news at the time, he said, “I don’t know. I didn’t read the papers because I was in hiding for the next three days.” (In 2004, he had told Britain’s Sunday Telegraph: “I was terribly relieved when I heard on the news later that evening that no one had been hurt or killed by my bomb.”) Shoebat could not immediately recall the year, or even the time of year, of the purported bombing when talking to the Post by phone from the US. After wavering, he finally settled for the summer of 1977.
