They all sleep in the same bed. They to have used his blackness as a way to keep him were he is for fear of the word “racist” so he will do their bidding unopposed. This is a chess game and we are the losers either way

I have been telling you that the WA State Republicans have no core philosophy, only to win elections. When you attempt to merge conservative beliefs with the union agenda, you get nothing but a mish mash of contradictions and the union members still don’t vote Republican.

That is what is happening in WA because Republicans think that they can win over the union vote by supporting coal and oil trains as well as liberal social issues, all except gay marriage and abortion. Many of the top Republicans in WA only pay lip service to those issues.

The Republican Party in Whatcom County is in complete disarray because they supported the coal terminal project that was clearly against the best interests of most of the county. As it turns out, the project is dying all on its own. China doesn’t want the coal, Goldman Sachs sold out to a Mexican and the tribes hate the project. The end result was that Republicans lost just about all the seats that they had gained.

She was said to be in the running for Romney ‘s VP.

I have to say that a lot of people from the farm regions in WA State support amnesty, that is unless they have been targeted by SEIU unionization. She really needs to talk to the owners of the berry farm in Skagit county, where the illegals went on strike and picketed the farm several times last year, claiming that there weren’t enough jobs for the legal guest workers.

You have one party that wants to reward people who broke the law with amnesty... and then you have another party that wants to reward people who broke the law with amnesty...

You have one party that thinks Obamacare is basically a “pretty good law that just needs a little fixing”... and you have another party that thinks Obamacare is basically a “pretty good law that just needs a little fixing”...

And meanwhile, you have millions of Americans scratching their heads, wondering why they should waste their time then voting in the mid-terms. That sound you hear is Senate Democrats breathing a collective sigh of relief. Congratulations, Stupid Party- you’ve outdone yourselves this time...

Then you are a Democrat in reality.

Must be true I keep voting for Democrats in Republican clothing and nothing gets better.

I am no longer playing your game, your method always leans us left and I have 75 years of data to prove it.

I was thinking about Mc Morris Rodger’s statements as well as our disappointment in her Republican Minority speech, and I just realized what the problem is. She’s a Libertarian, running as a Republican.

I bet that if you go down a list of her positions, you will find that she is more in line with Rand Paul than with Ted Cruz.

Mrs. Mel, I agree with your consternation here. It does seem like our leaders have bought into something that almost seems as if it were a one world order.

Is this the lead up to the antiChrist?

I don’t know. It sure isn’t the traditional push/pull of our two political party system.

Something change. I’m not liking where it looks like we’re headed. I don’t think either of us is, and I certainly understand why you’re questioning where we’re headed.

It gets worse Bay. Take a look at this copied article from the Kitsap Sun, (I copied it into word since the site is subscription only), once these enrollment numbers start taking off the only stopping Obamacare will be the bankruptcy of this state and the nation!

Read and weep:

Early numbers dwarf local estimates for health insurance signups
More locals on state exchange than forecast

BREMERTON — It’s still unknown how many uninsured Kitsap residents secured health coverage during the first round of enrollment for the state insurance exchange.
At least one piece of anecdotal evidence suggests a seismic shift toward coverage.
Last year, about 30 percent of visitors to affordable care provider Peninsula Community Health Services were uninsured. As of March, that number was down to 7 percent.
“It was a big drop,” Peninsula CEO Barbara Malich said. “That’s all good news.”
The Washington Health Benefit Exchange released enrollment numbers Wednesday from its inaugural open enrollment period, which closed March 31 (Medicaid/Apple Health enrollment continues). More than 600,000 Washingtonians signed up for coverage through the exchange. About 164,000 enrolled in qualified private plans while the bulk qualified for expanded an Medicaid program.
In Kitsap, 4,940 residents signed up for private plans, including 3,774 who qualified for tax credits. An additional 12,921 enrolled in Medicaid for the first time. In Mason County, 1,121 residents obtained private coverage and 3,668 enrolled in Medicaid for the first time.
An exchange representative said staff are still compiling information on how many of the enrollees were previously uninsured. An earlier report from the state Insurance Commissioner estimated 27,000 uninsured Kitsap residents and 8,000 Mason residents would qualify either for Medicaid or subsidized health plans through the exchange (see graphic).
Exchange enrollment in Kitsap easily dwarfed the conservative projection for the county. While eager to see more detailed statistics, Kerry Dobbelaere, manager of clinical services at Kitsap Public Health District, said the results were encouraging.
“We’re all very pleased with that number,” she said.
Dobbelaere coordinated a group of exchange “assisters” from the health district, Harrison Medical Center, Kitsap Mental Health Services and Peninsula Mental Health who helped enrollees navigate the online exchange.
The assisters will continue to work with prospective Medicaid clients and help with the open enrollment period next fall. Dobbelaere said the health district will eventually play a role in educating newly-enrolled residents,
“I think now one of our jobs is to provide people information as to what preventive care services are available to them under their plans,” she said.
Some care providers are already reporting higher demand for services as a wave of residents receive coverage.
At Peninsula Community Health, Malich said visits were higher than average early in the year. The clinic and dental office saw 21,000 visits in January, February and March, putting it on pace for 84,000 visits in 2014, compared with 77,000 in 2013. Malich said it’s too early to know if the pace will continue.
The numbers aren’t as important as the benefit to patients now covered, she added.
“It’s less about us, and more about the influence in the community,” she said. “It’s a much more stable patient payment base across the entire community.”
Harrison HealthPartners also reported high demand for services, though statistics weren’t readily available. Spokeswoman Jacquie Goodwill said the physicians group had expanded rapidly in the last year, making it hard to compare patient numbers over time.

leave it up to the GOPe to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory

if they punt on fighting 0bammycare and then approve amnesty... they will succeed in turning their base against them.

they’re only hope is having no option on the ballot besides them and a dem. if there is a TEA party candidate, he/she would win hands down... assuming they campaign against everything 0bammy, 0bammycare, and amnesty

of course, getting the amnesty deal done in August might be the point... giving dems 30m more voters and forever shutting out those footing the bill

You are right that the lesser of two evils doesn’t work any more.

I think that what we are seeing is the take over of the Republican Party by the Libertarians. They are willing to lose Congress in order to maintain the gains that they have made. Boehner thinks that he has a better chance of being the minority leader than he does the majority leader after November. He’s making deals, and so are a lot of others.

I have to wonder how many of the non conservative members of Congress are stealth Libertarians.

I can understand parts of the impetus behind Aca because in "some" cases hospitals will be getting money back from the fed for services they used to essentially give away.

What I don't understand is the roll over attitude of republican reps who seem too intimidated to stand up for what they know is right. For me, I'd like to see more Clint Didiers and less Kathy M. Rodgers if that's the best she can offer.

Have you noticed how the GOpe is proclaiming that we have to jettison almost every plank of our platform to be competitive with Democrats. Nevada GOP just too opposition to abortion and sodomite marriage out. The national GOP is fighting for amnesty harder than they ever fought against CommieCare, and harder than they ever grilled Holder and the IRS on high crimes and misdeanors. It looks like they are actively, consciously working towards having one party in all but name, and perhaps soon enough, even in name. The more they move left, the more we follow, and even run ahead of them on some things.
