Latest Obamacare Challenge for Dems: Where's My $2,500 Savings?
NewsMax ^ | 27 Apr 2014 | Greg Richter

As the midterm election approaches, vulnerable Democrats have a new worry that may be difficult to spin: Where did the promised $2,500 savings in health insurance premiums go?

As a candidate in 2008, Barack Obama repeatedly said his healthcare plan would reduce the typical family's annual premiums by up to $2,500 per year. Often, he did not include the caveat "up to," simply saying the "typical" family would save about $2,500 a year on premiums.

But now, a month past the signup deadline for coverage, comparisons for the typical family's then and now premium costs are difficult to come by. The Obama administration isn't issuing such numbers. At best, it has said the costs are "lower than projected," reported most recently by the Los Angeles Times.

What he really meant to say was “I’m gonna give you entitlement leeches way more than $2500 of free medical care you don’t have to pay sh!t for.”

Well, that was an “average”.

Once you take into account the “divide by zero” amounts of “savings” that those who didn’t have insurance and are now getting it for “free”,

then that $2500 average “savings” can be justified.

On, come on...You all know this clown is an inveterate liar, why would you expect something even closely resembling the truth to dribble out?

They’ll probably tell us that “our” $2,500 savings was redistributed to a poor, more deserving individual in the form of a subsidy.

He could have said the average family would save $500,000 dollars. Would not have mattered.

The average LIV listening to his speeches heard that their healthcare would be FREE.

THAT is why he is really in trouble.

If the MSM researched and reported every lie he has told, they’d have to hire a thousand new reporters.

And your average liberal O-care supporter heard
“you’re a good person for wanting to give everyone free healthcare”.

A question: if the $2,500 savings are not there but the prices are lower than projected, isn’t that an admission that they flat out lied when promising the $2,500 reductions?

Sounds as plausible as anything. Ding the increasingly rare taxpayer who is being played for a sucker.

As Iowa farm corny as it sounds, we need to all embrace God again. We’ve been treating God like a sometimes acquaintance, even to the point that sometimes is only once on the weekend, and something more like an every minute, every hour, every day embrace will be needed to blast past the grasp of hell. (That even kind of rhymes... Blast past the grasp! Blast past the grasp! to the tune of Bang Shang a Lang)

This is hurting even the “entitlement” class. They are living lives full of ennui. Mere dollars alone don’t satisfy. What are they used for? To buy emptiness? If they heard a rousing gospel, that situation could change and Obama and his minions could have a serious political rebellion on their hands, but grounded in a theological rebellion.

Even this will turn out to be ennui if there is nothing more. People won’t want it for their empty meaningless lives. We’ll be seeing suicides and “euthanasia” like in the Netherlands.

Their entitled boredom unfortunately translates into vehemence and harm against others that deign to criticize their useless existence. Any hint of proposing they actually earn what they get is met with vitriol and arrogant defiance. Our leader and his ilk perpetuate it with their pitiful accommodation.

I wholly agree. They need GOD. They don't need Allah, they don't need the Messiah - they need GOD. But they won't get a leader who doesn't even know what that is unless it is his image in the mirror.

While the branding of someone as “racist” still has some measure of sting, it is certainly much less effective today than it was only a few years ago, primarily because of its inappropriate application and extreme overuse.

In fact, it may be turning into a sort of badge of honor, indirectly tweaking both Eric Holder and the Current Occupant now squatting in the White Hut, both of them being examples of the cruelty and ruthless nature of promoting someone though Affirmative Action.

Once they had been promoted beyond their level of competency, they are daily proven to be the phony mediocrities they really are.

“Where’s My $2,500 Savings?”

“Don’t know. Above my pay grade.”

I think upside-selling will be suitable. That it’s worth it to go to the bother of pursuing an enterprise that does not deal in misery and degradation. “You ought to earn...” is going to fall flat if they put their hope in the Enemy. They see this in a purely humanistic framework and of course it sounds like nonsense in that framework.

“You can gain great dignity by...” points, if indirectly, to God.

The only thing worse than the lies he speaks, are the lies he doesn't speak.
