Report: Wall Street Republicans Prefer Hillary over Ted Cruz, Rand Paul
Breitbart's Big Government ^ | April 28, 2014 | Tony Lee

Posted on 04/28/2014 5:34:24 PM PDT by 2ndDivisionVet

The permanent political class and their donors think a Jeb Bush vs. Hillary Clinton battle in 2016 would be a win-win scenario, and many Republican Wall Street donors would rather have Clinton in the White House than Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) or Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY).

According to a Politico report, "the darkest secret in the big money world of the Republican coastal elite is that the most palatable alternative to a nominee such as Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas or Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky would be Clinton."

“If it turns out to be Jeb versus Hillary we would love that and either outcome would be fine,” a Wall Street donor told the publication. “We could live with either one. Jeb versus Joe Biden would also be fine. It’s Rand Paul or Ted Cruz versus someone like Elizabeth Warren that would be everybody’s worst nightmare.”

Fearing "heavy blowback," no one would go on the record in an article that tries to set the establishment narrative that Jeb Bush should get support because Hillary would have an easier road to the White House if a conservative candidate won the nomination in 2016.

Other Wall Street Republicans have said there would not be any "panic" with Hillary Clinton...

I’m not a fan of Jeb, but what makes you think he would do worse than Romney did in the primaries? Didn’t Romney win 3 of the first 5? Won’t Jeb have the same huge financial backing?

Exactly. Today we have two main parties: The Democrats and Democrats-lite which is exactly why Cruz, or Palin or any other conservative who wants to run should run as an independent because if they seek the Democrat-lite nomination they will never get it. The Democrat-lites will destroy them just like they did with Herman Cain so they can prop up their Democrat-lite candidate who will be just like the Democrat candidate.

These stupid asses could very well be looking at Paris, 1793 the way things are going. Didn’t work out so well for the elite then, either.

Breitbart under the new management has gone commie.

This article is 100% horsesh1t. Just read it. It's all gossip and hearsay. As if wallstreet was just a handful of people.

But here's the kicker. Vote. Don't vote. DemoRAT. Repugnant. The pigs at the the helm at the RNC get rich regardless. It's not about morality. It's about money.

Conservatives are irate but the RNC doesn't care one way or the other.

Screw it. I'm voting green party. Throwing a vote away is throwing a vote away, regardless.

Ted Cruz is a Princeton/Harvard educated lawyer. He may be a black sheep, but he’s a member of the tribe.

Yes, this should come as no surprise to anyone. During the last 2 elections, the GOPe threw senate seats to the dems. They did this so the tea party candidates would not reach critical mass and threaten their power & influence in the party. They feared that the tea partiers would enact real reform. They did this thru operatives and by withholding money from tea party candidates who had a real chance of winning. They even supported that write-in wench from Alaska (Murkowski) even tho she lost the primary.

So how does it make you feel that they would rather lose the senate than tolerate more conservatives?

So does John McCain. If a conservative would get the nomination, the GOP DC crowd will do what Richard Lugar did to Murdock in the Indiana Senate race.

They will sabotage the nominee out of pure spite.

You are undoubtedly smarter than you look.

Your post made a significant point. The elections of 2014 and 2016 are going to be the biggest dis-information campaigns in the history of the world.

Unfortunately, most of the little people will never suspect that they are being fed a pile of c**p while being told that they are eating crumpets...

What I love is the meme that Hillary is one of the world’s strongest and most courageous statesmen ever.

Tell you what, when that shoe whizzed by her when she was on that stage, she curled up into a tiny little ball and looked like someone’s 95 year old great grandma. If elected in 2016, she will die in office of ill health before the end of her first term. Of course, we the little people will be told that she fell and bumped her head and that she will be ok in just a few weeks. Meanwhile Ol’ Bill
will end up with that third term he always dreamed of.

Yeah, it’s unreal, a new party has to be formed and fast. I mean look at the last two candidates they picked, McCain and then Romney and then they wonder why they lost. Well when they are pushing the same exact kind of candidate as the Democrats, people tend to look down upon that, as if Republicans have gone insane. Why even bother calling themselves Republicans? The gig is up, the scam is exposed, everybody knows they are pushing another version of the same party. Last election worked out real well didn’t it? “Oh Obamacare? Well I invented that in Massachusetts!” Say what?? It was a choice between the leftist candidate or the leftist candidate.

US as quickly becoming neo patrimonial state. I believe the election of Hillary Clinton would cement the ‘Change’.
The parties are interwoven as is the private and public sectors. This is the ‘Public/Private partnership’ they promote. Until you can control or at least have oversight of the bureaucracies, like IRS,EPA,BLM, DOT, & NSA, we’re toast.
