Boehner: 'There Was No Mocking'

(CNSNews.com) - At a news conference on Tuesday, House Speaker John Boehner said there had been "no mocking" in his much-publicized characterization last week of House Republican colleagues who oppose legislation that would give legal status to illegal aliens.

"There was no mocking," Boehner said. "You all know me. You know, you tease the ones you love. But some people misunderstood what I had to say, and I wanted to make sure the members understood that the biggest impediment we have in moving immigration reform is that the American people don't trust the president to enforce or implement the law that we may or may not pass."

He must have missed the instant replay.

Later Boehner was asked the following series of questions:

Q: Mr. Speaker — Will you work to defund and replace odumbocare.
A: Boehner — “Ohhhh. Don’t make me do this. Ohhhh. This is too hard.”

Ok, we will try a softer one.

Q: Mr. Speaker — How about defending the Constitution.
A: Boehner — “Ohhhh. Don’t make me do this. Ohhhh. This is too hard.”

Still too hard.

Q: Mr. Speaker — How about defending the Second Amendment.
A: Boehner — “Ohhhh. Don’t make me do this. Ohhhh. This is too hard.”

There has got to be something you can defend.

Q: Mr. Speaker — How about issuing subpoenas for Benghazi, or the IRS targeting scandal, or holding the Attorney General in contempt.
A: Boehner — “Ohhhh. Don’t make me do this. Ohhhh. This is too hard.”

Gosh Mr. Speaker, weren’t you elected to make choices. To solve problems. But I guess after your meeting in the white house on the 25th of February, you have chosen the path of least resistance.

So I guess now we know what the February 25th meeting in the white house with odumbo was about;

We will remember this every time the lefties punk you and treat you like their little prison girlfriend and you cave in. “Ohhhh. Don’t make me do this. Ohhhh. This is too hard - [don’t make me stand on conservative principles].”

Pope Francis declares (via Twitter), ‘Inequality is the root of social evil’

Boehner is a con-man and he is doing exactly what his masters instruct him to do. There is nothing conservative about him.

I was thinking that the real conservatives in congress should vote for Pelosi for speaker just to get Boner out. Then I realized how happy that would make Boner and the rest of the rinos.

The system corrupts them faster than we can vote them out.

Right on. This is a losing cause. I'll never forget Ron Paul when he was opposing the fence built said some day you will not want it so you can get out of this country. That shocked me but I thought then that was a lot of truth.

Conduct unbecoming: It is unseemly for a House leader to intimate what his colleagues might have said---even in a mocking tone. The pushback musta been fierce.

===============================================

Slow-witted Boehner better listen up---his problem is not his colleagues....it's us pesky voters.

Boehner's cartoonish whine notwithstanding----fear of political repercussions is keeping OUR REPRESENTATIVES from voting for this unwise legislation.

The Senate bill is dangerously flawed, and its glaring ommissions WRT the securing of US ntl security, cannot ever serve as the basis for useful legislation.

By legalizing illegal aliens w/out shoring up law enforcement, we hand an engraved invitation to global Third Worlders----all of 'em salivating to ride the US gravy train.....each seperatist group conniving w/ a hidden agenda.

Amnesty recklessly opens the door wide for illiterate, low-skilled aliens, born and bred in savage cultures, here only to suck up US benefits and take jobs away from Americans.

Third Worlders may, in fact, contribute their labor to the US but their loyalties are elsewhere----they have no intention of becoming Americanized....of participating as equals in American culture, our vast history, or preserving American values.

The amnesty bill amply demonstrates that this separatist population intends to usurp the US political system to advance their own hidden agenda.
