The Right Sector is the most radical wing of Ukraine's Maidan protest movement that toppled President Viktor Yanukovych in February.
Originally set up as an alliance of ultra-nationalist groups in November 2013, the Right Sector is now a party and its leader, Dmytro Yarosh, is running for president in the 25 May election - although his poll rating is negligible.
Critics at home say the party's inflammatory rhetoric and violence is helping Russian media to depict Ukraine as overrun with "neo-Nazis" who threaten the Russian-speaking population.
The Right Sector is trying to portray itself as a responsible party, but enough doubts remain about its attitude and intentions to cause unease in both pro-Kiev and pro-Moscow camps.
Protest role
Activists claiming to be Right Sector members were involved in Kiev's Maidan protests from late November, but the group did not attract much attention until violent clashes with police in central Kiev on 19 January, in which it played a leading role.
By early February Mr Yarosh was saying the Right Sector had 500 fighters on Independence Square and could mobilise up to 5,000 nationwide, although close observers of the protests doubt this.

No, those groups are composed of a broad spectrum of individuals including plenty of Jews. It no more makes the entire group 'neo-Nazi' than the fact of Michael Moore being a Democrat makes the Democrat Party a bunch of wheedling, fat, neo-communist hypocrites. Plenty of Democrats are genuine wheedling, fat, neo-communists.
The source for these accusations against the various anti-Moscow Ukrainian nationalist groups is (big surprise!) Russian state media. Russians are easily whipped into a mob by the mention of fascists and the attendant references to the 'Great Patriotic War' and Putin and his propaganda organs are trying to make the anschluss of Ukraine into some sort of act of patriotism instead of the act of rape on a national scale that it truly is.
While I personally agree with Putin on many social issues and I admire his acting in the interests of Russia (as opposed to Obama, our Traitor in Chief who sold out our national missile defense to Russia) the fact remains that Putin's fantasy is to rebuild the USSR and the Warsaw Pact.
Putin is implementing the ultra-nationalistic policies of a real right-wing racist; Vladimir Zhirinovskiy and his LDPR Party. If you look up the platform of the LDPR you'll find that they are textbook national socialists.
So while I side with the people who want to keep their country you're siding with people who are actual fascists and they openly say so in their own party platforms. You are siding with them by carrying their message on this forum.

I'd recommend you examine just who it is you're supporting and opposing in Ukraine and stop being a tool of Putin.

I do harbor extreme odium for 0bastard and his administration and I know that whatever they do in foreign or domestic policy is designed to harm the United States of American and other peoples as well. The problem with Ukraine is that a perception of events is spoiled with both Western and Russian propaganda. Both are lying to some degree but Russian propaganda is somehow more factually correct because their subjects are more experient in smelling bullcrap from the government medias after 70 years comparing to neo-Communist Americans who are yet ot get a clue.
If you are thinking there are no Nazis in Kiev you are simply blind. True, there are no majority Nazis among protestors, it is a lie by Russian media. On the other hand there wasn’t a majority Al-Qaeda in Syria and Libya but unlike their majority liberal fellow travellers they have guns and somehow more motivated in getting power. That must be the case with Kiev Nazis and there are numerous indicators about it.
