It’s about a group of black racists illegally conspiring to seize control of a basketball team from a white racist

What if Sterling is in on it and it's a plot by the Democrats to win in the 2014 election. This has been best thing for Democrats all year.

I wish upon you the capital gains tax on $500 million.

Hey probably has the lawyers to pay a tiny fraction of that. But from where I'm sitting, I could pay the $500 million taxes and still come out ahead of where I am at now. On a $12 million investment over 33 year. Sounds good to me.

Well I’m speaking in generalities here based on on the MSM’s actions and complicity and tie in to the PC culture as well as Holder’s obvious involvement in investigating racially charged cases. The MSM is heavily nvolved in forming public opinion and partially controlled by the government prpaganda machine. Anyone that is familiar with the CIA’s involvement with manipulating propaganda and handpicking news items and putting them at the front if the line to pin understands what I’m talking about. Holder’s office is involved in the investigation of alleged hate crimes which often turn out to be initiated as a result of knee-jerk complaints for alleged wrongs (LGBT cases which often turn out to be false). O hile the hovernment my not be directly involved in forcing the sale they certainly contributed to the culture tht brought us to these crossroads and you can bet your likfe if there’s any taxable income derived from selling the team they will certainly have their hand out like a restroom thug who wants your lunch money just because they say so.

The tapes themselves are proof of a conspiracy by persons not yet known to seize control of the team.

The dweeb Silver ‘s “Investigation” which lasted all of three days and basically consisted of asking Sterling if it was his voice, is pathetic.

Silver never asked who made the tapes or where they came from, inexcusable from a legal perspective, and exposes the NBA as co-conspirators when they force sale of the team based on illegally obtained evidence.

If Sterling takes this to court, the NBA is screwed big time, and I’m not talking just about the civil case, but a criminal case against the slut and anybody who helped her.

Sterling is not only going to get his billion, he is probably going to destroy Silver too.

The Clippers are owned by the Sterling Trust, Sterling, his wife and two children.

I wondered about a trust. That would protect against probate, death tax and capital gains. The wife could have the husband removed as a trustee or declared incompetent.

Sinister, devious, malevolently evil...but not that clever. Those are the breaks. But lot of “breaks” haven’t gone all that well for the Dems recently...

The tapes themselves are proof of a conspiracy by persons not yet known to seize control of the team.

The woman claimed she made them with his permission. There is no evidence someone else is involved. Sterling gave a comment to a magazine and he didn't say that the tape was made illegally. Maybe it was, but so far there is no evidence. Why wouldn't Sterling claim it was made illegally if it was?

The dweeb Silver ‘s “Investigation” which lasted all of three days and basically consisted of asking Sterling if it was his voice, is pathetic.

Sterling confirmed it was his voice, correct? Silver never asked who made the tapes or where they came from, inexcusable from a legal perspective, and exposes the NBA as co-conspirators when they force sale of the team based on illegally obtained evidence.

I doubt that would make them a co-conspirator. From the NBA's perspective, they were protecting their business interests. If Sterling takes this to court, the NBA is screwed big time, and I’m not talking just about the civil case, but a criminal case against the slut and anybody who helped her.

Is there any evidence that Sterling "dumped" this woman. From the magazine he made comments to, it appears as if she is still his "girlfriend." I think that severely complicates what you said above. Sterling has a terrible track record in court. He suffered a large fine for business practices, and he paid out a decent settlement to an executive he abused. Also, do you really think the NBA doesn't have lawyers too? Sterling is not only going to get his billion, he is probably going to destroy Silver too.

I personally would love to see Silver and his mentor David Stern be disgraced. But I don't think Donald Sterling is the hero you seem to. I'd love to see all three of them in exile on a remote island. Also, you fail to not Sterling was a close crony of Stern and Silver.

How so? They totally won on gay marriage and healthcare, and they have the GOP crumbling apart.

Sterling will wrap this up in the law courts for years after he is gone.

If that trust is set up correctly, the NBA will have its hands full trying to penetrate the trust to get the benefactors, the wife and the children, to sell

They should change it to “Democrat vs Democrat”

For what it's worth, the LA Times reports that Sterling is a Republican.

I hope the story is wrong. I expect we will be hearing more about this.

Hear, hear! One of the rare moments I agree with Cubes.

From the Magic Johnson, LeBron James and Silver world view, maybe we can take some of Johnson’s and James’ property and give 50% to Sterling and 50% to the local Boys and Girls Club.

I, have so decreed! (using my pencil and cellphone)
