It didn’t work.
I put a condom on a cucumber just like they showed me and my girlfriend still got pregnant /s.

The correct response to the guy’s proposition is “No.”
Or “Yes.”
But it is naive to be offended by a college guy’s overt solicitation of college girls for sex. All he’s doing is avoiding the subtlety more commonly practiced in the mating ritual.
He’s also being a crude jackass, but hey, that’s what today’s culture has become.
Probably the worst thing that could happen to him would be to get a “Yes” answer. Any gal who would shake it down with a random stranger just because he asked is probably either a skank, demented, or a liberal (but I repeat myself).

Would that same question be considered improper now (not to you, but in general)?

The person in the black `I Love My Vagina’ tee shirt.
She’s doing strange things with her hands.

Did he sexually harass these women in a traditional sense? No, this was a case of creating a hostile environment in the workplace. I reject this conclusion.
This may have been Mike Adams' workplace, but it is not the student's workplace. The student is a customer who has purchased the product of education.
This is similar to a person who walks into a department store who then asks another customer out for a date. It may have been an unwelcomed proposition to the other customer, but the first customer was not creating a "hostile workplace environment."
Now, if it were a teacher who was propositioning other teachers, then I'd agree that the teacher was creating a hostile work environment. If supervisors were aware of the offending teacher and did not discipline the teacher, then it is also creating a hostile work environment.
But that does not extend to customers who are simply transactionally inside that work environment.

If a woman had done this, we would’ve been told that it was “empowering”.
Universities have “slut walks” so that women can march proudly independent in groups proclaiming their sexual prowess.

He should have dressed like a woman, you know, in drag. That would have threw a wrench in the whole feminist attack. "I'd like to explore my lesbian side..."

Probably the worst thing that could happen to him would be to get a Yes answer. Any gal who would shake it down with a random stranger just because he asked is probably either a skank, demented, or a liberal (but I repeat myself). The Obama administration urged this tactic while waiting in line to enroll in Obamacare...

If he were a female student, his conduct would have been seen in a very different light. If he were a female, even an ugly one, he'd gotten a "yes" pretty soon. He must have sloppy or crazy looking or he would have gotten a yes from some skank eventually.

Wasn’t Sandra Fluke’s demand for free birth control for single women a promotion of wide open sexual boundaries?

That's like that scene in
Tootsie, in which Dustin Hoffman's character finally acts on the inside-scoop girl talk he's been hearing in drag as "Tootsie", and gets a faceful of wine for his trouble.
Girls talk crap. Called on it, they pitch a fit and pretend it's his fault.

If he changed his name to Chelsea Manning he could scold everyone for insensitivity to transgendered lesbians.
