The truth can be dangerous. Some extremists will go to great lengths to keep the truth from coming out, even if that means threatening harm to United States Congressman Trey Gowdy.
Remember, it is Trey Gowdy who will be leading the House Select Committee into what really happened in Benghazi. Liberals fear that Gowdy, a highly successful prosecutor, will uncover the truth.
That is exactly why threats of harm have been made against Congressman Gowdy. Liberals want the truth to remain hidden so they can protect Obama and Hillary Clinton from facing the consequences of their actions.
POLITICO reports:
The U.S. Capitol Police are investigating threatening emails against Rep. Trey Gowdy, the South Carolina Republican recently tapped to lead a special panel probing the Benghazi terrorist attacks.
The investigation comes after POLITICO reporters and journalists at other outlets received two emails on Tuesday warning that Gowdy would be harmed because of his role in investigating the 2012 attacks.
The Capitol Police would not comment on the scope of the investigation but Officer Shennell Antrobus confirmed that there is “an active, open investigation.”
This is not the first time Gowdy has been threatened. As Politico also reported, “In 2012, a woman approached Gowdy with a gun while he was sitting in his car in Spartanburg, S.C.”

We hope the Capitol Police get to the bottom of these threats. This is a serious matter, both because Gowdy was threatened and because it was likely an attempt to dissuade him from getting to the truth.
Gowdy will not back down, and neither will we. Stay tuned for developments in this story.

The wording in this article is extremely poor. “liberals” don’t all want to hide truths about Benghazi. “Liberals” in general are just misinformed fools that assume nothing out of the ordinary happened in Benghazi, because all the good media people and politicians tell them it’s over, no big deal, some people died, a video inflamed them, and plus, “what difference does it make now?”
They are not informed of the importance of what happened. They don’t realize that the President and his men (even the ones with girly parts, allegedly) MUST HAVE HAD TO LIE because of evidence we know; they don’t realize how infrequently AN AMABSSADOR IS MURDERED; they don’t understand that there were obvious STAND DOWN calls that don’t make sense, etc.
The people wanting to obfuscate are the Powers That Be. Not “normal” American liberals. Even liberals would want to know the truth. That’s why they aren’t being told.
Gowdy was interviewed on Bill Bennett this morning. He said the first question he wants answered is, What were we doing in Benghazi on 9/11 when everyone else had headed for high ground, knowing that there would be some kind of trouble.
This has never been credibly explained and is the key to the whole cover-up.

Probably threats are from some underground contact out of Holder’s Justice Department, who wants this investigation to go nowhere, FAST.
Holder has no intention of serving contempt of congress charges or consequences against Lois Lerner, Hillary Clinton, or Leon Panetta. So, I don’t really know where this can go, under a totalitarian regime.

John Boehner is in spasms, knowing he can be thrown out by TEA crossing over to to give his House spot to the RAT opponent, no great loss. Just one house seat. Then give Trey the gavel.
I held my nose and voted, but Romney wasn’t going to roll back any Leftist crap. He wouldn’t have pulled the Islamic card, but I have no doubt he would have pulled a number of others not being a well grounded Conservative.
That’s the problem. We put people in who advance the Leftist agenda.
If we don’t fix the RNC’s gamed Leftist primary process, we’ll see Romneys and McCains over and over.
Look at McCains efforts on behalf of the “rebels” in Libya and Syria. The guy is a total ass hat clown. We would have immigration reform already in the bag, 20-35 million made legal and poised for a chain migration avalanche.

If conservative candidates had united behind a single candidate, Romney was toast.
