doesn’t matter what part of govt orders it. any dept is just a buying vehicle.

obama is just arming govt, period. where it all ends up is more important. it won’t end up in ag, it will end up other places.

In some way shape or form, most of the departments of the government have criminal investigators that investigate fraud and theft of services and property from their department.

I knew a girl that worked at the department of education investigating mostly title 1 fraud by school districts and student loan fraud.

“The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) is a cabinet-level agency that oversees the American farming industry. USDA duties range from helping farmers with price support subsidies, to inspecting food to ensure the safety of the American public. The department seeks to expand overseas markets for U.S. agricultural products and support international economic development; provide financing needed to create jobs; improve housing, utilities and infrastructure in rural America; and improve nutrition and health by providing food assistance and education. USDA farm subsidies have been the subject of much controversy for decades as critics say the assistance is distributed unevenly and manipulates the agricultural market. The department has also come under scrutiny for its failure to adequately protect American consumers from tainted foods that are not processed properly at slaughterhouses and other facilities. The current Secretary of Agriculture is Tom Vilsack.”

I guess we know how they plan on protecting American consumers from tainted food.

I have one in 9mm. It is not reliable. Fun to shoot but occasionally the trigger won’t reset required a manual cycle to get it shooting again.

You just never know when those farmers just might up and go postal.

Think USDA Forest Service.

The end-run around a standing domestic militarized federal police force, completely separate from the proscribed limits of the armed forces, was provided by open ended “enforcement” clauses buried within the legalese of a legion of alphabet agencies that now run everything.

Note the solicitation is from the Office of Inspector General within USDA, not from the Forest Service or any of the regulatory agencies in the Dept. The primary function of the IG’s office is to conduct audits of departmental programs. So why do they need guns to do that?
