How tiresome this racism thing has become.
I would hold racist views too if the only thing you were good at was scalping and slavery. I mean, why are these clowns so bitchy about? They get more free welfare and tax-free casinos
than the average liberal voter.
SO TIRESOME/ rolling eyes.
This fascism is getting ridiculous
I’m almost ready to throw in the towel.
They should be fine with “Redskins’ Cove”.
“I have no prejudices against any particular race of man. The fact alone that he is a human is cause enough for me to loath him.”
Was his statement an accurate reflection of the people at the time?
Why is it racist for someone to state what he observes?
“Political correctness is a doctrine,
fostered by a delusional, illogical minority,
and promoted by mainstream media,
which holds forth the proposition
that it is entirely possible to pick up
a piece of shit by the clean end.”

He also said funny things about the Irish, and Italians. See his Library of wit and humor for some FUNNY ONES!
I liked the one about the ship’s captain who was asked to pray during a storm.
The one about the Negro barber who quit going to church.(Hillarious!)
The one about the Irish mother’s son getting out of prison,
And the one where a business man mistakes a customer’s description of a sickness as an Italian thug.
You can’t hold people of the part to today’s standards. Lincoln said things which would be considered as vile racism today yet he wasn’t.
How many have completely missed the message against racism in Huck Finn?
Lots of complaints about the language but the language is where the subtle shift against racism is shown.
Correction: People of the past. Your spell checker won’t catch the wrong word if is another word spelled correctly.
I remarked a few years back, after one of my trips abroad, that “travel to other countries and cultures should cure racism”.
My statement was tossed back in my face as a plagarism to a similar statement Mark Twain once uttered.
I was unaware of his comment but, it is true or should be of any one right in the head.
Samuel Clemens, aka ‘Mark Twain’ (which refers to measuring the depth of the waterway at various points along the route) doesn’t NEED to be honored ANYWHERE other than up and down The Mighty Mississippi!
FU Nevada!
The things people with too much time on their hands come up with...
Ty Cobb is another who has been unfairly treated by history.
Things like opening the first negro hospital in the Atlanta area and staffing it with black doctors at a time when blacks were being turned away at other hospitals. He was meanspirited in personal relationships and especially disliked the press and the press used their power against him.
