“All we need are judges to rule over us!”

That’s pretty much where things stand. We have 9 unelected monarchs who get to tell us what the law is with princes, dukes and earls at the appellate and circuit level to assist. I guess after that kerfuffle with king George we liked monarchy so much we decided to expand it.

Fun fact about NH: its the only state without a compulsory seat belt law.

When one has no goals in a country or company, it is a bit like the 911 kamikazes... they do not want to operate the machine, just be there to rob it..... who cares how to run a bank business when one comes employed as insider to rob it ultimately?

Indeed... many corrupt agents are like that at the bench. They are bank robbers or dirty cops. This judge should go to prison... but no prison for them, for traitors.

The judge also ruled that Conyers won next November's election.

That’s twice in recent months for Michigan. One was a judge overturning the direct will of the voters on gay marriage and this is a judge overturning longstanding legislated law.

Was this guy some visiting judge from New Jersey who put Lautenberg on the ballot there some years ago to replace a crook?

A federal judge can put an ineligible candidate on the ballot? Thanks jazusamo.

The leftists need to be careful about the uneven application of the law. It sometimes results in SC decisions that they claim not to like, such as Citizens United.

In this case, I doubt it. The state officials would have to appeal the decision, and I don't think they will press the issue.

There are some differences between Conyer's and McCotter's cases. Conyer's appears to just be incompetence. In McCotter's case, there was outright fraud, and further investigation found it had been going on for at least several elections.

As a result, McCotter resigned before the end of his remaining term (even though he was a lame duck). There was no evidence he had any knowledge of it, but unlike our current pResident in the Oval Office, he took responsibility.

This goes to the USSC

They won't take it. I'd be shocked if they did. And even if they do in the normal appeals process it will be this time next year before they get it. I could be wrong, but I don't think this rises to the level of an emergency appeal.

It is 100% Judicial capriciousness and boilerplate cherrypicking. The Rick Perry part is especially pathetic. Ralph Nader is always a help too.

Every reasonable law is now subject to the perfect relativism of any federal judges’ whim. Any thing can be argued, and they are all on the same team.

Bottom line is the judge is displeased with a law and so he will do what he wants. It is tyranny, pure and simple.

Virtually all the positions of power are now occupied with tyrants, the corrupt, and the incompetent.
