Farnham is accused of using both personal and state-owned computers to trade hundreds of images and videos depicting child pornography and to engage in graphic online chats in which he allegedly bragged about sexually molesting a 6-year-old girl.
A federal criminal complaint alleges that Farnham, a Democrat from Elgin, possessed two videos depicting child pornography on a computer that was seized from his state office in Elgin a week before his abrupt resignation in March. Authorities also linked a Yahoo! email account used by Farnham to an online trading forum in which he chatted with other users about his sexual preferences, according to the charges.
“12 is about as old as i can handle,” Farnham allegedly said in one online chat in November, according to the charges. “i love them at 6 7 8”

SPRINGFIELD — A former state lawmaker who is accused of trading child pornography online has started collecting a state pension of nearly $15,000 a year — an amount he bumped up by purchasing credit for time he didn't work.
Execution is too lenient, but appropriate.
It’s like a machine. It has to be made to do (or not do) things. It doesn’t know anything of shame or pride or honor. That’s what law and wisdom are for.
My reaction is... why are we surprised it does NOT “stop” the pension. Something else needs to be done if “stopping” it is a condign penalty.
When are the liberals going to tell us that he was born that way?
My simple plan will solve this problem. NO PENSIONS OR OTHER POST-SERVICE BENEFITS FOR ELECTED OFFICIALS.
That being said this man seems to be a dirty old pig and I hope he spends the rest of his days in prison.
You may laugh, but I just saw the other day that “scientists,” meaning liberal fruitcakes who happen to be academics, such as the infamous Masters and Johnson pair, say that the “brains of child molesters are wired differently.”
Watch for child molesting to become a protected behavior in about 5 years. Things have speeded up since the gays got this “gay marriage” thing rolling.

I recently read where there are a lot of Gay/Straight clubs in public middle schools now. A lot of those heading up the programs are gay.
You know what is going to eventually happen at most of these schools. The chicken hawks aren’t going to pass up such opportunities.

This guy is just ahead of his time. Before long, his fellow travelers will sweep away all of the laws that make this sort of behavior illegal. They will demand and get access to our children and grandchildren so that they can be “instructed” in the wonders of being their sexual toys. Anyone who disagrees or tries to stand in their way will be convicted of hate crimes and put away in prison.
True Detective was a work of fiction, but it showed how the powerful are able to do whatever they want to the powerless. The characters portrayed in that series are alive and well and among us today in politics, the law, law enforcement, education, and as leaders of youth groups.
