I looked at the photos on his site and thought they weren’t so bad - someone with a very nice body is being used in a similar way to many great artists over the centuries who used nudes as models. They weren’t porno or anything like that, just an appreciation of a beautiful body. Greek statues showed more than this.
I think one of the main factors affecting the kid was video games and maybe a confused sexuality - and who knows - maybe competition with dad. He repeated the words from a video game in his “manifesto”. Why don’t the libs go after the video games??? I know, you can’t fight back with a video game.
If someone is going to shoot in black and white, most of it is about the tonality achieved. It is really difficult to say much looking at the images on a color monitor. Ansel Adams looks pretty ordinary over the Internet. You have to see one of his actual prints with your naked eyes to realize the mastery.
