Mitt Romney: Not Healthy Congress Hasn't Passed Amnesty
Breitbart Big Government ^ | 30 May 2014 | by TONY LEE

On Friday, failed 2012 GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney said it wasn't healthy that Congress has not passed amnesty legislation that the Congressional Budget Office determined would lower the wages of American workers.

"I do believe it's important for us, before the presidential contest in 2016, to finally have immigration reform in place," Romney said, according to The Des Moines Register's Jennifer Jacobs. "I just don't think it's healthy for the country to continue to have this issue open and unresolved, particularly with so many families that are waiting for the answers."

Romney said he was not for a "special" pathway to citizenship and reportedly added "time is running out for" Congress to pass amnesty legislation this year.

Mitt and wife Ann, were interacting with the Guatemalan illegals at their private home for 10 years.

Interacting? Always have thought there was something hinkey about that couple.

Healthy for who, Romulus?
Certainly not heathy for millions of Americans who have lost their
jobs and still would like to work.

In 2007, the talking point of the GOP establishment was that were OK with a "pathway to citizenship", but definitely NOT OK with "amnesty".

In 2014, the talking point of the GOP establishment seems to be that that were OK with a "pathway to citizenship", but definitely NOT OK with a "SPECIAL" pathway.

In related news, I am a strong supporter of eating cheeseburgers, as long as it doesn't include a special method of putting cheese on hamburgers.

Christie, Jeb, Ryan, or Romney.
Any of those become the GOP candidate, and I leave the ballot blank or vote third party.

The illegals said the Romneys had always been friendly with them.

Mitt also got at least one of his sons to use them.

And people seriously wonder why he lost in 2012? If Mitt really wanted to beat Obama in 2012 he should have run in the Dem primary!

It was not enuf the scumRAT Willard Romney LOST.

He had to backstab real conservatives for his Soros and Obama.

"Former Mitt Romney presidential campaign staffers…
have been involved in spreading anti-Palin spin to reporters, seeking to diminish her standing after the election.
'Sarah Palin is a lightweight, she won't be the first, not even the third, person people will think of when it comes to 2012,'
says one former Romney aide…
'The only serious candidate ready to challenge to lead the Republican Party is Mitt Romney.
"Some former Romney aides were behind the recent leaks to media, including CNN, that Governor Sarah Palin was a 'diva' and was going off message intentionally."

The Palmetto Scoop reported:
"The sources said nearly 80 percent of Romney’s former staff was absorbed by McCain and these individuals were responsible for what amounts to a premeditated, last-minute sabotage of Palin."
that Palin would be a serious contender for the Republican nomination in 2012 or 2016, which made her a threat to another presidential quest by Romney.

"Peeking Out From the McCain Wreckage: Mitt Romney"

"Someone's got to say it: IS MITT ROMNEY RESPONSIBLE FOR OBAMA'S VICTORY?"

"Vanity: Team Romney Sabotaged Palin and Continuing to Do So?"

"Romney Supporters Trashing Palin"

"Romney advisors sniping at Palin?"

Mitt, we do need true immigration reform in place before 2016...but not the type you are looking for.

How about these six very straight forwrd, direct steps to immmigration reform:

1) Seal the border. Double fence all along that was already passed into law but never finished. Use the National Guard to help the Border Patrol ensure there are no illegal crossings.

2) Make it a national imperative to find and deport all illegals here with any kind of other crimnal record. Hunt them down. For violent criminals, make them pay...all others, immeditaely deport on pain of long imprisonment if they ever come back.

3) Announce that all illegals who are otherwise here have 30 days to come into the INS and register, whereafter they too are immediately deported, but who would be considered for legal immigration if they go back and get in line. There’s your pathway to citizenship, Mitt. Otherwise, we will hunt them down too.

4) Immediately cease the anchor baby provision. Period.

5) Immediately cease all handouts, welfare, assistance, etc. to illegals. Only emergency care provided after which they are deported too.

6) Stiffen up penalties, including large fines and jail time. for anyone who knowingly hires an illegal alien.

"I do believe it's important for us, before the presidential contest in 2016, to finally have immigration reform in place," Romney said

They passed one in 1986, now start enforcing it.
