Group Attacked For Being White In Cincinnati

A Cincinnati man says that a group of black teenagers yelled at him and a group of white people “Why are you white people in our neighborhood?” before attacking him, in what police are investigating as a hate crime.

The attacks occurred at the three-day Taste of Cincinnati event last Sunday.

The annual event attracts over half a million visitors to the area. But it also apparently attracted violent groups of young people.

A police report obtained by The Daily Caller classifies attacks on two men, Scottie Hunter and Randy Ulses, as hate crimes.

The report says that Ulses, white, was being punched in the face by a black male and kicked by a group of black males. Hunter, who is also white, was assaulted by a group including black males and black females, according to the report.

The hate crime is classified as “Anti-White” on the report.

Reached by phone, Hunter confirmed that his attackers mentioned race before beating him.

"Why use a Hipoint carbine? They are popular in Detroit for home defense but I’d rather shoot .45 ACP from a pistol."

What gun isn't important nor really the point, it is had they been armed they would have been unharmed.

But I gotta tell you, I do like my modified HiPoint Carbine.

gotta tell ya, the life time warranty is real, a friend, who is a Pastor who loves to shoot, he kind of put some very, very hot rounds into his and blew it up. The HiPoint rep said to him, after he explained what he did and asked how much a new barrel would cost, was told, “We warranty stupid”. and they rebuilt the gun for him for free.

There have been reports of these sorts of attacks, at major public events such as state fairs, and civic events such as this Cincinnati event. How the heck will these events survive, if the youth gangs show up and start causing trouble?

Any bets on a lower attendance next year at this Cincinnati event??? You know that many people are going to be scared off from going to big gatherings in the city from now on.

Never said it was a bad gun....just ‘utilitarian’ as best as I can explain it. It’s a very good poor man’s carbine.

[BTW, the pastor must have shot some 147 grain +P 9mms in it.....] I have a box of that, and there’s only one 9mm I have that I’d shoot it in.

You have to watch the barrel length AND overall length on weapons classified as RIFLES....bbl > 16” and OAL > 26” IIRC.

Otherwise you get into a situation of a Short barreled rifle or AOW and without a tax stamp on that, you’re a criminal.

The way these manufacturers get around that is that they build them classified as PISTOLS and they aren’t usually able to have a stock (folding or otherwise) added.

I have a sticker on my truck.

“45 ACP. It’s just silly to shoot twice!”

Or, they could have said they work for the Jane Goodall Institute.

Clever, but I think it would have gone right over their heads.

Answer should have been; "We're looking for a shooting range."

They ought to get a couple of friends to "help" them: Mr. Smith and Mr. Wesson. According to the Atlanta Black Star:

Smith & Wesson Reports Record Gun Sales, Unable to Meet Rising Demand

Is ANYONE surprised? I'm not.

I don't know what he was shooting, I do know he reloads his won and has been known to cut down on the size of the bullet, drill a very small hole in it and imbed the tip and first 1/2 inch of a finish nail it it. When i see him next, I will ask him.

We have been talking about it being the standard issue for members of the Militia that live in cities and towns. Kind of depends on if HiPoint can and is willing ot come up with hi cap magazines.

Good point. Maybe they just can’t have big community events downtown or anywhere near the ghetto.

Off topic, I have friends and family in the Washington DC area. There is a theme park there, Six Flags America, which gets overrun with ghetto kids. My friends, rather than go to that theme park near where they live, will go to King’s Dominion near Richmond, Virginia, or Busch Gardens, in Williamsburg, Virginia, or Hershey Park in Hershey, PA.

They intentionally drive a lot farther to go to a place which doesn’t have so many gang types there. Can’t say I blame them. I don’t care much for theme parks, but for those who do, it’s got to be a big disappointment to go to Six Flags America near Washington, and be in fear due to your fellow visitors.

I agree, but the Hipoint would be WAAYYY down on the list I would want in a fight, especially against more than 1 attacker. It is large, heavy, and the 9 round magazine has less capacity than many double-stacked pistols. If I'm pulling out a carbine against a large crowd trying to kill me, it will start with AK.

Show me an AK you can get for about $230 and I’d agree with you (That’s what mine cost, IIRC) . Also, IIRC, the mags I have with mine are 10 round. And there are 15 round magazines out there for it.

Regardless, that’s why they call it the poor man’s carbine. Utilitarian and shoots reasonably well with a very common pistol round. Also has interchangeable round ejection port choice and is easily upgraded with the goodies.

In the minds of many young blacks the race wars are on going. Just look at major cities all over the country and it is very obvious, as the MSM refuses to talk about it.

I live in a Cincinnati suburb, and I stay in the suburbs. I refuse to go downtown. No matter what anyone says, it is not safe.

Funny.....I thought they were against segregation. I'm sure if a group of whites went to a black person and said "Why are you black people in our neighborhood", Jesse and Al would be there faster than you can say 'Trayvon Martin.'
