Didn't know that. Not trying to get around the rules. I don't know if it's even okay to post the link. Let the moderator decide...

You can always post a link. Unless it’s offensive, racist, or the like.

There is something about this man I and lot of people in Mississippi do not trust. I never trusted him when he ran for Congress in State of Ms. and will not vote for as many I know will either.
I hate go against Palin but the way I feel it will easier to replace Thad in few years from now….but if we get Chris in office he will be another 40 year man. I say again I do not trust him or his words. I’m not a Thad person either…..but I don’t think he fill out his term and we can get a real conservative and Chris is not one in my book.

We have seen after Thads voting record we cannot trust him to make the hard choices (he struggles against conservatism). Weak on most every issue.

And that means every state is going to have to make sacrifices to save this union.

Poor argumentation.

Better: In the US Senate it's a competition to see which Senator can steal more money from the other 49 States to bring home to his State. The sad fact is that they almost all win and bring home billions and billions of dollars. This money isn't spent to build up their States, it's spent to buy the Senator's re-election by having the money go to political supporters and crony capitalists. This is NOT economic development, it's corruption. Thad Cochran brags that he can bring more home to his pals in Mississippi than the other 99 Senators can take from Mississippi. He's wrong.

No State ever, ever, ever improved their economy by some politician bringing home the bacon.

McDanial, don't concede a thing. There is no "sacrifice" is stopping Federal spending. Ask people at your rallies, if anyone has benefited from the bacon brought home. No one has, no one's seen it and no one of your supporters is going to miss it.

Good for Chris...we’d still have McCain as president if reaching out to Democrats was the path to victory.

Great point, but the Anmerican people THINK they need all that federal gravy and will continue to think so. MS people though like Cochran because they have "heard of" him.

In the beginning there was “Right” and “Wrong”, and we’ve be compromising in the WRONG direction ever since.

The source of that article is a Gannett Company.
They will not let any of their context be posted here at Free Republic.
Posting a link is just fine, but no text.
Don't be bothered by uninformed posters that think it is fine (and clever) to go around the rules.
It's that attitude that could get FR shut down.

Always check at This Link when posting an article. Posting the link to the original story was OK.

You won’t be replacing Thad.

Feel and the Barbour machine will be replacing Thad.

Your next ‘choice’ for sinator will be in 2020.

Thad thinks Obamacare was a ‘great achievement’.

Do you think it was a great achievement?

What do you think of Thad and Henry’s outreach to “democrats to cross over and vote in the republican primary to ensure our community’s interest is heard”.

http://themississippilink.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/May-29-2014.pdf

Scroll to page 5.

If Thad isn’t a dim, why is he trying to get elected on dim issues and talking points?

There is another guy running in the GOP Primary besides McDaniel and Cochran. Vote for him. I can’t remember his name. If Thad does win the Primary, maybe God will be merciful to Mississippi and the entire nation and let ol’ Thad go on home to that big Senate Cloak Room in the sky.
