Talk along the lines of Hillary, Hillary, Hillary dominated the network news shows Sunday, as hosts and their guests mulled Hillary Clintons tenure as secretary of state, excerpts from her forthcoming memoir Hard Choices and her potential 2016 presidential bid.
Fox News Sunday host Chris Wallace countered praise of Clinton from Sen. Claire McCaskill, D-Mo., by listing some of Clintons troubles as President Barack Obamas top diplomat. Wallace singled out developments in U.S. relations during Obamas first term with Russia, Iran and Syria.
"She defended Syrias President Assad as a possible reformer at the start of that countrys civil war," he said.
PunditFact wanted to dig into Wallaces claim.

"Well, if there were a coalition of the international community, if there were the passage of a Security Council resolution, if there were a call by the Arab League, if there was a condemnation that was universal, but that is not going to happen because I don't think that it's yet clear what will occur, what will unfold.....dufubabaltalfalk.......man is mz. clinton a piece of work.........
Of course she did — it was part of the ongoing Demagogic Party agenda (and their fellow travs who pass themselves off as libertarians) to destroy Israel. Thanks yoe.
And I rate the Tampa Bay Times as petty. The reason Clinton made the statement way way she did was to put forth the idea and still be able to maintain plausible deniability if the situation turned sour. It's a typical Clinton ploy. I credit Wallace for bringing it up the way he did. It's only the Hillary apologists who pick at Wallace's statement the way the Tampa Bay Times did.
While Assad is obviously not a nice guy or a reformer are we saying that what has happened since she said this is better? Far better they be criticized for indirectly and knowingly supporting Al Qaeda by supporting the various rebel factions and causing the targeted deaths of thousands of Christians and destruction of Christian towns by their continued support.

They rated it a a half truth from the half assed congenital liar

As they say anything is possible. That's what passes for statecraft.
