He understands most Americans perfectly. He is willing to keep pushing the envelope on his treasonous behavior and disregard for American law to see if ANYONE has the power or the will to stop him. And guess what?==no one does. He can declare martial law and declare himself permanent ruler anythime he wishes now.
I see someone else gets it. I couldn’t decide if it was incompetence or evil intent for a long time. There is now no possible doubt remaining. He cannot be that stupid. He is pushing the envelope, testing, just like Putin is doing. He WILL NOT STOP, so hang on. The only question left is how bad can he make it before he gets what he wants, a shooting war here. We live in very interesting times.

Because zer0 has no connection to America, he thought he could generate a rally ‘round the flag moment by “bringing home the last American POW”. His lop-sided *trade*, which is rumored to also have included millions in *ransom*, has flopped. His trading partners are crowing, as they should, since they won big and lost nothing.
Certainly the parents were vetted and interviewed and talking points meant to spin the behavior of the father as a man seeking to regain his son by identifying with his *captors* have not resonated.
Americans appreciate authenticity. There isn’t a shred of it in this entire deal, at least on the US side. On the Afghani side, however,everything is exactly what it is. Our leaders were played. Their actions support our opponents. The weak-willed Bowe is a pitiful object of derision for his stupidity, his temper tantrum in deserting to the enemy. zer0 was just upholding “leave no man behind.” Yeah, right. Military honor is so Obama. Not.
The father may simply be as weak as the son,identifying with the those the son chose to cover his own self-disgust at what he raised.
Beware, all. CNN posted a soft puff piece on Daddy this morning. It mentioned that the family are strict Calvinists who home schooled. Since the faux patriotic attempt has failed domestically and the appeasement plus the release of psychopaths is bound to further embolden our enemies, just wait until Calvinism is equated to Islam and home schooling is blamed for producing antisocial wet dishrags.
There are no depths too unbelievable for zer0 and company. All truth and reality are malleable to these people. If the audience here at home won’t accept the spin, not only will we also be told to “suck it up and salute”, if we don’t, we will be blamed in the most dramatic about-face dreamed up by the PR hacks.
Somehow, every failure must land on conservative heads.

Obama doesn't have to understand Americans. Obama doesn't care to, and he has at least two more years to do whatever the hell he wants to destroy what's left of this constitutional republic, unfortunately.

Only about 40% of the country are “Americans.” 100% of Freepers, but only 40% of the country.
The rest, regardless of official status or where they were born or how many generations their ancestors have been here are just simply not Americans.
They are free-agents, random interlopers, Benedict Arnolds, and other nouns you can easily list off (Please do in the comments!).
The sad fact of why our country is dead is because they are the strong majority, and they have stolen what is rightful Americans’, things which every other country and nationality on earth has, and no one objects too (except Israel).
The more I ponder 9/11 the more I consider it a final defeat, rather than simply an opening attack, or one lost battle.
It truly did accomplish more than the Muslims every probably hoped for. It seems to have marked the 100% complete killing of Americans.
