I was 11, Mears...I remember sitting by my mother in church that day....a word of mouth prayer service at our church once the news came that the Invasion had begun..

Indeed.
I remember a lot, too...Our evenings were spent gathered around the radio listening to the news..We kids had to do home work during school, of course, but I recall the broadcasters names and voices still.
