It was the original narrative that the White House was hoping for when they made the deal, and though everybody else was looking behind the curtain at the truth, the Times was bitterly clinging to the Administration's original spin.
Everybody else was writing about the reasons why the deal stunk, and the Times sent their reporter to his hometown to cover his hero parade. The parade was obviously canceled and the sad reporter had to fly home in tears. It's really a pathetic outfit.
