The mayor of an affluent Southern California city was caught on camera leaving a bag of what appeared to be dog feces on his neighbor’s property, police said, and the neighbor believes this wasn't an accident.
Dennis Kneier, mayor of San Marino, a town of approximately 13,000 people just south of Pasadena, was identified as the person placing a plastic bag in the private walkway of a home in the 1400 block of Charlton Road around 6 p.m. Saturday. According to San Marino Police, the bag was tied closed and appeared to have been intentionally place at the walkway entrance.
Homeowner Philip Lao says that surveillance footage shows Kneier and his wife walking. In the video, Kneier’s wife is seen pointing to Lao’s walkway, and then Kneier is seen tossing the bag onto it.
Lao believes that Kneier was seeking revenge for his opposition to the mayor’s dog park proposal. Lao is against the dog park because he believes dogs are left there for hours as their owners run errands, and the dogs tend to fight when left unattended.

San Marino (near Pasadena) is definitely not the wealthiest burg in the LA area but it has some of the most restrictive zoning and the functional equivalent of HOA restrictions a human being could imagine.
The homes are mostly largish Spanish-style mansions, lushly planted, very attractive looking.
But leave your trash cans out on the street a few hours too long and you’ll get a ticket.
No no no. That’s just a lawn game in San Marino. On the weekends, the sun is almost blotted out from people launching sacks of scat at festive barbecues.
You know their motto.....
“San Marino - We’ve Really Got Our S**t Together And We Leave It On Your Sidewalk!”

In a just world, people would mail to his office boxes upon boxes of the drippiest most foul dog droppings that could be found.
Throwing a plastic bag of dog poop on your neighbors lawn?
That’s amateurish.
Here is the proper way to do it:
1 - Scoop poop up and place in a paper bag
2 - Place paper bag in front of target’s front door
3 - Set paper bag on fire
4 - Ring door bell frantically
5 - Run down to sidewalk
6 - Watch target open door and stomp on bag to put out the fire
Surprised he delivered it himself instead of outsourcing that job to FedEx
I have often though about doing the same thing when I find dog doo-doo on my lawn. SO many dog owners are so un-civilized, and inconsiderate of neighbors.
WHAT? Never heard that one before. Must be S.Cal culture. Doesn't happen here.

An ex-co-worker of mine suggested a solution to that problem. Make the dogs clean it up themselves! Pour bacon grease on the dog mess, and that dog (or some other dog) will come along and eat it. Yes, it's disgusting. But that's not your problem at that point!
