Sounds like he’s all about the real platform rather than kowtowing to special interests.

It means that GOPe lost, and now it’s time for them to sit their butt down, shut their trap, get in line, and support the nominee for the good of the party.

Cuz that’s what they tell us when their guy wins.

As an old econ (econometrics/stats) major, he sort of woke me up with the way he talks. He’s obviously a very intelligent man. Can’t have too many like him.

He resonates well, so who’s his mirror image (or closest to it) who could run for POTUS in 2016?

Maybe Kasich?

Sarah Palin

Congratulations to Dave Brat in Virginia on such an encouraging victory tonight! You shocked the political world and reminded D.C. that power lies with We the People and not any conventional party establishment. Dave Brat was massively outspent (more than 10 to 1) and laughed off by most, but he won the trust of voters the old fashioned way – one by one. Tonight’s victory showed the power of the local grassroots – the ones with boots on the ground who put up the campaign signs and go door to door to provide needed support for great candidates. Appreciation also goes to those with powerful microphones like Laura Ingraham, Mark Levin, Ann Coulter and others who recognized Dave’s strengths and had the guts to provide him a megaphone to reach concerned citizens.

Grassroots commonsense conservatives can use this momentum to push good candidates like Chris McDaniel, T.W. Shannon, and Rob Maness to victory for America. These candidates are also being massively outspent by establishment candidates and they need our help and energy.

Thank you, Virginia! On to November!

- Sarah Palin

It is always good to hear from Mrs. Palin. I still wish she could be our president. I trust her to do the right thing for our country. And boy, is she a hard worker.

I just read that on her facebook page. Nice of her to give credit to Laura, Levin, and Annie. I wonder why she didn’t endorse him?

Kasich climbed into bed with Obamacare. He’s a non-starter for POTUS. Forever.

Yep! And don’t forget Dan Bongino running in Maryland. Rarely have I heard such common sense spoken as eloquently and plainly. He’s running in a tough district that includes Rockville. I hope this gives him a boost. I wish I had a candidate like that running in my district here in Pa.

Please! Kasich, with his tourette syndrome squirming, facial ticks and grimaces? Since becoming guvnah of Ohio he has morphed into a sad caricature of a typical democRAT jive politician.

First, I am using the real definition of amnesty, i.e., any legislation that allows the lawbreakers to stay and work here, the object of their crimes, is amnesty.

Univision - Interview with Sarah Palin October 26, 2008

Q: Should undocumented immigrants all be deported?

A: There is no way that in the US we would roundup every illegal immigrant--there are about 12 million of the illegal immigrants--not only economically is that just an impossibility but that's not a humane way anyway to deal with the issue.

Q: Do you then favor an amnesty for the 12 million undocumented immigrants?

A: No, I do not. Not total amnesty. You know, people have got to follow the rules. We have got to make sure that there is equal opportunity and those who are here legally should be first in line for services being provided and those opportunities that this great country provides.

Q: So you support a path to citizenship for undocumented immigrants?

A: I do because I understand why people would want to be in America. To seek the safety and prosperity, the opportunities, the health that is here. It is so important that yes, people follow the rules so that people can be treated equally and fairly in this country.

O'Reilly 2010 interview

There are other links including her conversation with Lars Larson. The bottom line is that she supports allowing them to stay and work here if they "play by the rules."

I like Sarah Palin, but she is wrong on this issue. The proponents of amnesty are wont to create the false choice between mass deportation and a blanket amnesty. We have other alternatives. Attrition thru enforcement works.

She has improved on the issue since then, but I wish she’d be a leader on it.

Laura Ingraham and Mark Levin deserve major kudos for Brat’s win.

Hannity was way off base here. Brat’s win shows that people want the Obamacare web site to be built more cost effectively?

Free markets aren’t a right or left issue?

What does he think the left is about?
