Obviously, the FDA advisory committee recommending this ban includes experts in cheese-making. /sarc

The FDA bureaucrats just cannot stop with their compulsive, anal-retentive drive to f*ck things up.
This is government excess run rampant.

Well I guess the elites didn't think this one all the way through. What happens when they come for the wine barrels?

Since libs are usually behind all these artisanal/organic/locally-sourced movements, I wonder what they’re thinking, lol.

The whole idea is to have organisms in the wood. Except it’s about mold, not bacteria. Penicillins!

Bureaucraps often say "NO", just because they can.
Under Obama, they're saying "No" more often.

Wood boards have been used to make cheese for over a thousand years - since the very beginning of cheese making.More like ten thousand years. It is likely cheese-making goes back to the Neolithic.

Affirmative action in action!
Nobody in the FDA is allowed to have an IQ over 85.

1) Not all bacteria are unhealthy.
2) Bacteria are necessary to turn milk into cheese.
3) The FDA is overrun with brainless do-good-ers.

Are cheese borne diseases really such a big problem or is this an attack on yet another industry?
After health care, the next government takeover is the entire food production and distribution chain.
I have no doubt. This is part of it.

Only experts in 'cutting cheese' I would guess.

As someone who made goat cheese, many varieties for over 20 years THIS IS RIDICULOUS! Basic levels of cleanliness practices need to be followed. More nanny state BS. What’s next, banning cutting boards altogether?
