Basically, he was insulting his former state, saying they are a bunch of stereotypes out of deliverance. Anyway, though, I detect that there is truth in this jest.
They may Robert Byrd him and wheel him drooling in for votes. then shame the heartless TEA party for elder abuse if complaints are made.

His aides have been running the show in the shadows since at least his last election.
Thats why there is so much bitter resistance to allowing him to retire. There are a lot of people with vested interests who are playing de facto Senator of Missouri with Cochran acting as their front man

Isn’t it true that commercial pilots have to retire at age 60, and that this requirement was instituted with safety considerations of the public in mind?
