Here We Go Again — Another Phony ‘Gay’ Gene Study
BarbWire ^ | Jeff Allen

Posted on 06/13/2014 1:27:25 PM PDT by Woodland

A study conducted earlier this year is being manipulatively utilized by LGBTQ activists to promote their pro-homosexual propaganda. After testing the DNA of 400 “gay” men in the U.S., scientists claim that they have found more evidence for the genetic causation of sexual orientation. However, they are now conveniently replacing the phrase “caused by” with “influenced, affected by” or “contributes to.” Unless paying close attention, the undiscerning reader might not notice the intentionally nuanced language. Moreover, the results of this new research, like all of the other studies that preceded it, are not compelling.

The UK Guardian, reporting that “at least two chromosomes affect whether a man was ‘gay’ or straight,” describes the specific conclusions of the research.

That’s why conservatives put “gay” in quotes.

So wait - are they saying some day there could be a genetic test for homosexuality - which could potentially lead to aborting them in womb?

Liberals heads will explode with confusion.

Barbwire is a new site that pretty much lets the most virulently stupid leftists post almost unhindered. Check out some of the comments if you have the stomach for it.

Hard to see how such a gene could be adaptive enough to be perpetuated.

So, therefore, future gene therapy will eliminate the “disability” from the developing fetus, just as science hopes to end other birth defects. Perhaps, rather than gay marriage they should be able to apply for disability?

See, this proves once again, that we don’t know what causes homosexuality. In spite of the Hollywood idiots such as Lady Gag singing that they are born that way, we don’t know for sure what the cause is.

So their sample was 400 homosexual men, and no heterosexual men, but they claim a genetic basis?

The study is inherently flawed - no control group to show differentiation.

I think Rick Perry just said that there was a “gay” gene, in so many words.

Would not the theory of ‘Evolution” dictate that a “Gay Gene” be eliminated from the “Gene Pool”?

...pulatively utilized by LGBTQ activists to promote their pro-homosexual propaganda. After testing the DNA of 400 “gay” men in the U.S., scientists claim that they have found more evidence for the genetic causation of sexual orientation...and yet when Rick Perry commented a few days ago that homosexuality was like alcoholism in that both were caused by a genetic factor, he outraged the gay and liberal communities - apparently even when conservatives say what they want to hear these types can't be happy.....

See, this proves once again, that we don’t know what causes homosexuality.

I think we do know - homosexuality is a defect of biology. All humans start off as females. We 'become' male or female. Sometimes the transition doesn't work. We see hermaphrodites. Their body is confused.

They have no choice - they were born that way.

But that doesn't mean people can't be conditioned or trained to accept a defective lifestyle.

The twine studies are pretty definitive. Identical twins non only have the same genomes, but experienced the same intrauterine environment. Thus there is NO EVIDENCE that either genetics or “hormone effects in the womb” make anyone “born gay”.

Instead of genetics, these people need to focus on the spiritual realm when they are looking for answers as to what makes people “gay”. But they’re unwilling to do so, for obvious reasons.

All humans start off as females. We 'become' male or female.

I've heard this crap spouted only by homosexual activists, but never by real scientists. Do you have an objective source?

The sex chromosome, XX or XY, determines sex. Saying that "all humans start off as females" directly contradicts this proven fact.

Is it not the case that people that admitted to experiencing same sex attraction or desire have through deliberate acts of will resisted and rejected such feelings, and by their own volition have succeeded in affirming and strengthening their heterosexual attitudes and behaviors?

Hermaphroditism is different from homosexuality. Hermaphroditism is caused by biological factors—homosexuality is not!

Hermaphrodites usually are treated surgically soon after birth, and also may receive hormonal therapy. Then they usually act and feel as either males or females—not “intersexes” or “gays”.

I think a small percentage of queers are perverts because they are born that way. I believe in the homosexual gene.

BUT, I think MOST homos are that way through choice because its the politically correct thing to do.

Your statement agrees with what I’ve read too.

I don’t know anything about homosexual males, but I know, and have known quite a few homosexual women. Every one of them were sexually abused as young children. I don’t know why this isn’t studied.

So does that mean there’s a bisexual gene?
