I know, I know, the recent ISIS (Islamic State of Iraq and Levant) gains have everyone scared. No doubt, the Islamophilic administration will want to step in, and save Islam from itself once again. Let me advocate a course of action that will make sense to all sides in America; the left and right; from militarists to pacifists: Let the Muslims kill each other.
After the administration blundered on Benghazi, on the Arab Spring, and Syria, Heaven itself has afforded it one last chance to set itself right. It is almost impossible for the administration to screw it up. All it has to do is nothing.

ISIS (Islamic State of Iraq and Levant) is presently a large group of thugs with guns. They have no navy, no air force, except for a few captured helicopters, which they will soon break. The only ones they can threaten are their fellow Muslims. If they take over Iraq, who cares? They will soon reduce the Levant to the seventh century. And this is a problem to us? OK, oil prices may spike for a while, but they are going to need to sell their oil because they’ve got nothing else to produce for export and can’t produce any of the fruits of modern industry. Meanwhile, the high prices will encourage domestic drilling and production of our nearly boundless reserves held in shale deposits, to the point where we will become a major oil exporter ourselves.
These mujahadeen are incapable of maintaining the weapons they already have. Weapons need upkeep. Weapons have to be oiled, cleaned, and upgraded. Upkeep interferes with raping, pillaging, and chopping off heads. Within two years, they will be slaughtering each other with scimitars and rusty AK-47s.

I’ll say it over and over. We should never have gone in to Iraq. We should never have stayed. We should never go back.
Works for me. This has all the makings of a potential major shite vs. Sunni sectarian conflict — which is primarily why Obama is so reluctant to get involved. He can’t help one side without becoming the immediate and total enemy of the other side, and that he dare not do.
But, hey. This is one time I can actually support his indecision making. If your two worst enemies are beating each other to a pulp, the smart thing to do is step back and let them duke it out.
One side or the other will win. Whichever side wins, will then take all the resources it has conquered, use the resources to rearm themselves, and then turn on Israel, Europe, and us. We must either convert or destroy all the militants, regardless of whatever corner of Muslim theology they happen to choose to reside.
Unless we are willing to enter and commit mass slaughter by whatever means that far outweighs what’s going on there now, we have nothing to contribute. And then we will face the recriminations of the rest of the world who still insists Islam is a wonderful religion that we need to understand more deeply. Like the Brits.
There’s plenty of damage that can be done with AK-47’s. And as far as ISIS, I’m sure the $490 MM they looted from the banks they overran will buy any number of party-favors from any number of willing sellers.
We are on the upslope of this wave of sectarian violence. Not the peak, not the tail end. Sect after sect has been encouraged and is bound to continue. These societies have no way to defend themselves against this and our military isn’t set up to do so either. It’s a crappy situation but we will have to wipe out whole towns to have any effect.
Let the inbred, pedophile-worshipping misogynists (mozlums) kill each other. Civilization will advance with fewer of them.

It’s always about the money the military contractors making welling weapons of war and the donations (kickbacks) to the politicians that are their buddies. Wouldn’t it be a wonderful world if PACs, special interest groups, and lobbyists didn’t exist?
I respectfully don’t agree. We should have nuked the entire middle east into orbit and said, “anybody else want to mess with us?”
