Not so sure about that..40% of the country are yellow dog dems who will NEVER change their minds. I will guess that half the pubs don't want to rock the boat, either. Certainly ALL of the establishment GOPers feel that way.
Don't confuse their limp bleating for anything meaningful. You and I want something to happen because the rape of the Constitution cries out for it, but how many in the country really feel that way? 15%?

Wait until January, and if you take the Senate go for it. If the Rats complain, invoke the Reid Rule.

Actually you don't need the Reid rule. If the house chooses to impeach, the Senate has to hear the impeachment. But I agree with waiting until January and not screwing up November. We have to remember that Clinton's popularity rose after impeachment.

You are 100% correct. Right now, Obama is seen as a lightweight, and a bumbler. Even most blacks would privately agree with that.

But if Obama is impeached but not convicted, all of that would change. Obama would be seen as a sympathetic victim, not as a bumbler. Much the same thing happened with Clinton. Impeachment turned him from a lecher into the sympathetic victim of Kenneth Starr.

Do not impeach in the House unless you can convict in the Senate. Wait until a smoking gun appears, something that will disturb even senate democrats.

You are right there. But just to have the charges brought against him on impeachment in the House would be a good way to get the message out to more of the uninformed Americans than what the MSM is doing now. It might be that the full hearings would last until the end of November. If we get the Senate they the impeachment would be presented to the Senate by a Republican speaker and a vote must be taken. Might lose here but at least the American people would finally realize that all Democrats are really communists.

I'm in favor of impeachment after the election. If we can't take control of the Legislative Branch this year we are doomed.
