The single most depressing number for President Obama in the NBC/Wall Street Journal poll
Washington Post ^ | June 18, 2014 | BY CHRIS CILLIZZA

The new national poll from NBC and the Wall Street Journal is stuffed with bad news for President Obama. His job approval rating — 41 percent — is as low as it has ever been.

And yet, all of those bad numbers pale in comparison to how people responded to this question: "Thinking about the rest of Barack Obama's term as president, do you think he can lead the country and get the job done or do you no longer feel that he is able to lead the country and get the job done?"

Fifty-four percent — let me repeat, 54 percent — said that Obama "cannot lead and get the job done," while just 42 percent said he could lead. I asked the pollsters behind the NBC-WSJ survey for the party ID breakouts on that question, and here's what they sent me: 84 percent of Republicans said that Obama can't lead or get the job done, as did six in ten (61 percent) of independents. (Just one in five Democrats agreed.)

That is an absolutely remarkable vote of no-confidence in Obama's ability to do the job he was elected to do.

Given that the poll is from NBC and the Wall Street Journal, it would not be surprising if there were a 10-point bias blended in.

Polls....are ruining this country.

Polls are just manufactured news.

They aren't accurate....they are worthless.

He doesn’t care. He’s doing what he wants to, to the USA.

congress has backbone. Just wait for the next time they have the opportunity to screw over conservatives. They have plenty of courage then.

The numbers remind us that Democrats are not patriotic and many out right hate America.

Other than blacks (13%), that is 28% approval.

Good point...

Blacks gave him 13% - that leaves his approval at 28%. Take out white liberal elites who feed off the liberal plantation system, dependent women, 99% of journalists, and illegals recently made citizens and we’re talking maybe 11% - 14% ...

I have noticed that for the past year the number of people siding with the side that he is doing a good job always hovers around 40% You can’t fix stupid. They need to put out a poll asking “Do you think the US can survive another 2 years of his presidency”. We can if we get him out for treason.

The 41% who still back this colossal failure are the Takers, who cash their checks on the tax payers’ dime. They contribute nothing of value to the nation

I agree. I didn't vote for Mitt Romney (I am a conservative, after all) but Mitt did have one thing right - the 'Rats have a lock on about 47% of the population. Nearly half of all American voters will vote for the 'Rats no matter what. And that's because they trust (rightly) that the 'Rats will work tirelessly to rob honest producers and turn the loot over to them.

We've reached the point of no return. I seriously doubt that conservatives - the producers - can ever win another national election.

Which means that we either accept 'Rat tyranny or we secede. Or, better to say, we boot the blue areas out of the United States.

I say let's break through the denial and accept that nobody who voted for Obama in 2012 is our countryman. Nobody. They all gotta leave my country.

Actually, they are just stupid. They have no sense of reality.

It almost like Hillary selling 60,000 hardbacks for a 14 million dollar investment.

They don’t understand anything.

Ignorance explains it better:

John 8:32
Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free. .... Live as free people, but do not use your freedom as a cover-up for evil; live as God’s slaves.

“There has never been a worse president despite what the black population says...”
//////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

My only serious question at this point is, could there be a worse president? I pose this as a serious question, I know that one could think up absurd scenarios but actually could he be any more effective at destroying what is left of this once great country or would any attempt to speed up the end of America be too much and actually result in something being done to stop it? I am of the impression that Richard Nixon who was certainly not stupid, whatever else he may have been, RESIGNED because he knew that his fellow Republicans would vote to impeach and remove him. Is there anything Obama could do that would result in his party being willing to remove him from office? If eighty percent of Democrats say he can still lead (something which he actually never could do) the answer would seem to be no.

Probably no. From what I’ve seen he could completely strip the Constitution, enact Sharia law, and start lopping of his own pople’s heads and they would still follow him. He has them hypnotized in a Stockholm Syndrome kind of way because of his race, celebrity status as the first black president, and their lack of discernment and wisdom. He can tax them to death, give them empty ad broken promises, strip their rights and they still stay. It’s really the battered spouse effect en masse.
