Obama ´Disappointingly Complacent´ on Islamic Extremism says Former Australian PM
Breitbart London ^ | 6/18/14 | Raheem Kassam

Former Australian Prime Minister John Howard has today referred to U.S. President Barack Obama´s approach to Islamic extremism as ´disappointingly complacent´ in a speech to the Margaret Thatcher Liberty Conference in London. The high-profile event was attended by hundreds of political journalists, activists, writers, legislators and other global stakeholders. Howard’s comments were met by nods of approval across the room as he took aim at Barack Obama´s West Point commencement speech of last month. Howard said: "Islamic fundamentalism is a far greater threat than many people in their culturally equivocal way believe. "Obama´s West Point commencement speech… with the greatest

Read 1984, Animal Farm, Brave New World, Fountainhead, Atlas Shrugged, a lot of Wm F. Buckley Jr. ( Up from Liberalism, Quotations From Chairman Bill, etc.) Barry Goldwater “Conscience of a Conservative”, his auto, etc.

Have not seen Idiocracy or the 48 Laws of Power. Will take a look see. Am an avid reader. Thx.

"Unfortunately a city or two, some large number of people will have to die on the nightly propaganda show before the liberalism is horrified out of the modern conscious."

Yup. That's why I say kill them all NOW! As in tactical nukes and/or carpet bombing! Bring back napalm! Bet that would get those cultists' attention. Again, I don't care about collateral damage, as long as we don't have 3,000, 10,000, maybe even 30,000 American citizens killed, and that's not including a smuggled nuke.

I'm sick of this stupid half-assed war against the Middle East Muslims. We lost over 4000 lives to liberate Iraq, and many more injuries and what is the result today? Screw them and kill them all like we did with Germany and Japan. Yes, it could be called "genocide", but they started it and will never stop until they learn a hard lesson and go back to their goat-humping and leave the West alone.

He gave us a lot of hints that he’d sympathize with them. I hope no Democrat, or world leader that cozied up to Barack, is shocked.

Trouble is, it is often like fighting with a herd of cats.

We do not have the munitions to glass over Afghanistan even if we had the stomach to do it. That is a vast, vast place. There isn’t an “emperor” to surrender like there handily was in Japan.

Worldly forces are going to fail here, and God looks at that and says Good! Now maybe you will invite Me back into the picture when all else fails!

48 laws is what Machiavelli would read if he were not such a humanitarian. It is the most in depth look at power that ever existed. And I say that in all honesty. there are plenty of books on the hows of power. This one goes deep into ‘why’. Because he that understands why will always overcome he that knows how. If you understand ‘why’, then ‘how’ is a given.

I have bought it three times. Each time it is lent out and I never see it again. Small price to pay for the spreading of knowledge. Because I am sure each copy has passed through several hands by now for the same reason.

I recommend it often on FR. It really is that ‘important’ a book that ranks up there with the best of them. Want to understand the Dems and GOP and their actions? you will. With clarity.

Sure we do. We have enough to effectively glass that entire area twice over and irradiate any spots the blast misses.

Yes and to pollute the earth with vast bands of radiation that will come around to us?

There is a reason why thermonuclear war is truly considered the very last of last resorts, but that reason seems to be lost on you.

There’s that personality conflict again.

Do some reading about the nukes we tested. We blew off a lot more than it would take to glass them. Are you growing a third arm off your forehead? No? Then explain it.

But I understand because ‘I’ said it, you are forced to reject that out of hand. So let this be your guide

Actually, we do have the nuke munitions - think Trident subs that have some 24 missles with multiple guided nuke warheads. Here is a list of Afghanistan cities that could be nuked into oblivion to make our first point. From there, we continue to carpet bomb every strong hold mountain area where the Taliban tribes live and hide.

First 3 with tactical nuke strikes. After that carpet bombing.
Kabul - 3 million
Kandahar - 450,300
Herat - 349,000
Mazar-i-Sharif - 300,600
Qunduz - 264,100
Taluqan - 196,400
Puli Khumri - 180,800
Jalalabad - 168,600
Charikar - 153,500
Sheberghan - 143,900

Yes, I know that no one has the stomach for such a massive attack. However, once they hit us again, and they will, I won't be surprised if the Country starts yelling to kill them all! Bet if we did the above, the few left would just go back to goat-humping and leave the West alone for decades, providing they don't get their own nukes. Also, as I said above, I have no worries about China or Russia. Again, think Tridents.

MAD works because they know that we will all die collectively and they became attached to breathing. It isn’t likely that we will ever engage each other for that reason. That and dispite the commie ideas, they are not batcrap insane.

Muslims look at breathing as a roadblock for 72 virgins and ARE batcrap insane literally thanks to centuries of inbreeding.

One does not negotiate or try MAD with that as death as they CLEARLY tell us in those very words, holds no meaning. You destroy it.

I would also highly recommend Jonah Goldberg’s book, “Liberal Fascism”, as a primer to modern historical context of the movements of the left.

"There isn’t an “emperor” to surrender like there handily was in Japan."

First, the emperor of Japan didn't "handily" surrender. It took TWO atomic bombs.

I don't believe that the Muslim radicals need a central leadership to give up if we just devastated their nation back to the 7th century. Some remaining few may fight to get their 72 virgins, but once they see a few of their cities go up in a mushroom cloud, bet their tribal leaders say - whoa! WTF?

They'll be thinking about where did the water and food go? The country would be in ruins and few will have the will to fight for allah. Alas, won't happen, and we will get more mass murder on our shores from these savages. Watch.

Said the same thing over and over since the first "intifada" against Israel.
MAD does not apply to Islamists. Like someone once said, "When Muslims start loving their children more than they do death, then things will change."

No one was talking about thermonuclear warheads. There is such thing called "tachtical nukes". Much smaller and more targeted.

Hey, it it’s an act of love to send your kid 2000 miles alone through central America, surely strapping a C4 belt to one and turning them into red mist for Allah (piss be upon him) must be (cue Whitney Crackhead music) The greeeaaaatesttttt loooooveeeee of allll!!!!!”

So in sum, their literal come to Jesus moment isn’t likely happening on anything but a geological timetable. Which of course, you know as well as I do. Once the rest of the country realizes it, we might make progress in dealing with the reality of the situation.

Actually I was. Not opposed to the tacticals at all mind you, but since we have detonated several hundred of the mid to uppers not far from Vegas and give tours of the place not 50 years later, I don’t see the big guns being all that much of an end of humanity eco problem.
Not that Plutonium is a substitute for Brawndo in helping plants grow of course. But I really wouldn’t lose sleep if the poppy fields had a more permanent problem anyway.

I’m glad he had the courage to say it.
However, he’s partially right. It’s not complacent. It’s deliberate support for the members of the religion of ‘peace.’
