[VANITY] Why the IRS Emails Were "Lost" - The Smoking Gun
Spectator,org ^ | June 20, 2014 | Various

Posted on 06/20/2014 7:08:17 AM PDT by tom h

When the news trickled out a year ago that the head of the IRS union, Colleen ("fat and ugly") Kelley, met with President Obama the day before the agency began targeting the Tea Party, I finally saw the link. The story was picked up by many news sources on the right but did not develop any further.

It's my opinion that this is the connection that the "lost" emails are trying to hide. And it's a big connection -- the White House, the POTUS, the union boss, and the government agency all collaborating, and conspiring, to thwart the actions of free citizens.

I am not surprised that it happened. There is arrogance in all three quarters -- the gangster mentality of the White House political staff; the arrogance of any union, especially the IRS union; and the arrogance of the IRS, which is the most powerful and feared agency in the USA.

What makes it especially significant, and worth having to make the incredulous claim that the emails were lost, is that if the connection is exposed:

1) The IRS Union might well be disbanded.
2) The "Abolish the IRS" movement might actually succeed, removing a huge amount of government power.

What makes the IRS officials so desperate here, is not that the drip-dip-drip will get to the White House. That happens every 8 years and the process can be dragged out. The real threat is to the very agency that leftist government loves. The associated threat is to the notion that government employees should even belong to unions.

Thoughts or comments? If there has been more information about the connection with Colleen Kelley and the union I'd be thrilled to see it.

There is absolutely no justification under the sun why the IRS should have such unilateral and unaccounted power as the IRS. NO reason.

If I had the power, it would be disbanded and all of its employees imprisoned.

She’s protected. In the event she loses her IRS gig she can always fall back on licensing her likeness to treat erections lasting more than four hours.

Shut down the IRS. It cannot be trusted with its illegal authority to punish citizens for their opposition to Big Government. A flat tax for everyone, rich and poor, should be required to live in this country.

Whether you are “poor” (while consuming about $60.000 annually in government benefits) or whether you are “rich” and have a stable of sharp lobbyists and tax lawyers that allow you to evade taxes, EVERYONE should pay.

For more than 100 years we did fine without any tax on income.

The lost email claim is purposely creating a significantly big scandal. Clearly, obama thinks it’s less than what it’s designed to cover up.

IRS is the agency Obama put in charge of health care accounts, billings and medical records.

True, but that was before the Government became a bloated, angry and selfish whale with an insatiable appetite for money and power. This bureaucracy must be fed by the citizens that have been turned into serfs. The Federal Government will fight tooth and nail to prevent anyone from cutting it down to the right side. And unfortunately this is not a battle that can be won at the ballot box. The rot is too deep, and the structure will need to be razed before it can be rebuilt it again.

(from the aarticle):"There is arrogance in all three quarters -- the gangster mentality of the White House political staff;
the arrogance of any union, especially the IRS union;
and the arrogance of the IRS, which is the most powerful and feared agency in the USA. "

Clearly a violation of the Hatch Act

But then combine this with the previous Freeper article :
<< http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3170128/posts >>
titled :Consumer Financial Protection Bureau Grants Itself Authority to Shut Down Any Business
".. Last week the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, through the power of Dodd-Frank, passed a rule giving the agency unprecedented power to shut down businesses,
no matter what the reason, at any time it wishes through a cease-and-desist order."

One has to ask whether we live in a 'Free Society' , or a Dictatorial Socialist State.
aided and abetted by the GOPe, and the Main Stream Media ? THE ANSWER : File RICO charges against both the IRS and the new 'Consumer Protection Bureau' , OVER-REACH !!
The future of the Country probably depends on it !

One of the strongest human responses is revenge. Making fun of someone’s appearance will cause that person to work tirelessly to get revenge on you, or groups you belong to. Human beings are just bags of emotions that are walking around. These people know that it is wrong to use the IRS as a political weapon, but they did it anyway. What is the motivation for them to knowingly do wrong? Money? Yes, but take a look at the other motivators beyond greed. You’ll find revenge as a motivator for a lot of Democrats. It’s a childish, foolish response (especially as so much revenge is directed at imaginary insults), but it’s still there. I want to weaken the Democrats, not fire them up.

I think the House has some formidable power on the books. They should start using it. All the way from to refusing to fund Executive Agencies to subpoenaing directors, functionaries and employees to testify and to IMPOSE unilateral imprisonment of recalcitrants under its own powers. Understand the power, use the power and tell the Executive and Judicial Branches to stuff it.
