Polish foreign minister says country's alliance with US worthless Polish magazine says it has recordings of conversation in which Radek Sikorski says strong alliance with US 'harmful' Sikorski has been an outspoken critic of the Kremlin and has strongly criticised Russian actions in Ukraine this year. A Polish magazine said on Sunday it had obtained recordings of a conversation in which the country's foreign minister, Radoslaw Sikorski, says the country's strong alliance with the US “isn't worth anything” and is “even harmful because it creates a false sense of security”. In a short transcript of the conversation, a person identified as Sikorski by the magazine Wprost tells former finance minister, Jacek Rostowski, that Poles naively believe the US bolsters their security. Using vulgar language, the person argues that such beliefs are nonsense, and that the Polish-US alliance alienates the Russians and Germans. There has been no official confirmation that it is Sikorski who speaks in the conversation.

Poland’s FM is correct. America’s word to any nation is worthless as long as Barack “Dear Leader” Obamination occupies the White Hut. His administration is staffed buy the most feeble and inept foreign policy wonks since the days of Jimmy Carter. Hillay Clinton, John Kerry, Susan Rice, Valerie Jarrett doing foreign policy? That’s like giving a 5-year old a loaded pistol to play with.

World leaders are hep to Obama - it’s only the American news media that credit him with sufficient gray cells to fill a thimble and/or sufficient spine to raise sail on a bath tub boat.

When Obama licks the boots of Vladimir Putin, and only tells him “we don’t like what you did in Ukraine, now lets get back to business as usual,” the Poles have something to be worried about.

Our oldest ally is France.

True. But a tip of the hat to Polish officers Casimir Pulaski and Tadeusz Kościuszko. Both were fighting with Washington by 1777.

Pulaski is even credited with leading a cavalry charge that saved Washington from capture during the Battle of Brandywine.

I suppose that even as we speak Obama is trying to erase those facts from the Library of Congress. No nation or peoples must be allowed to insult the boy-king.

Yep, bambi would let Russia overrun Europe with only a stern word and threats of sanctions. Maybe move a carrier closer.

No derogation intended to the great Polish fighters for freedom.

However, it should noted that during our Revolution Poland had already been subjected to the first of the Partitions that eventually destroyed it (temporarily) as a nation.

The Poles who joined us were there as individuals, not as representative of their nation or government.

Sikorski, like all other Civic Platform officials, are merely interested in power-that-be and nothing else. In private, they regularly use vulgar dirty words and speak their minds as if they are gangsters, not ministers of the govt, etc.

However, in that particular case he's absolutely right. USA has done a huge, just tremendous job to turn the most America loving nation in the world into, at best, skeptics. What Ronald Reagan (to whom we erect monuments in Poland) did for Poland's independence, democrats like Clinton or Obama pushed into oblivion.

To my generation, born in the 60s, which remember the evil Soviet Empire, remember the communist yoke and horror, America was the only hope that one day communist nightmare would end, and Ronaldus Magnus did it.

Now, the generation of my sons, which was born in free Poland do not share the emotions we had, do not remember the terror of the communist police, etc. To them America is just like others, or even less as it's far far away across the ocean, etc.

I dare say, in early 90s, actually after 1992 when the first Polish fully free anticommunist govt of Jan Olszewski was established, America could, naturally metaphorically speaking, change Poland into the most American state of all, based on real feeling of devotion.

To my regret, what REPUBLICANS did, democRats f...d up irretrievably(the dirty word used on purpose to express emotions).

Today we have Islamic Revolutionaries burning villages and killing Christians. The Middle East has millions of disenfranchised people, with no purpose and the criminal cartel offer them a sense of purpose with the IslamistmMovement. It seems Mohamed’s teaching can rationalize murder as Marxist did as a means to an end. The media makes them into a hero monsters, and here we go all over again.

The drug legalization campaign is making drugs cool again, except this time pure, cheap, Afghan heroin is flooding markets.

The more thing change, the more things stay the same.

Islamists? Jihad?
See this video and see what Poland did in the past and what the world owes to my country.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u8_A8irSDTk

Actually, up till now Poland has been the only European coutry free from Islam. A several thousands of Muhammadans in my country are simply so insignificant that can’t be called even a minority.

Perhaps (I hope so) you will come to conclusion that you have never had more natural and more understanding friends than the Polish.

But then again, times change, people change.
