'DUCK DYNASTY' STAR PHIL ROBERTSON: VOTE 'THIS UNGODLY BUNCH' OUT IN NOVEMBER
Breitbart ^ | 22 Jun 2014 | by CHRISTIAN TOTO

Duck Dynasty patriarch Phil Robertson gives credit for his family's fame and fortune to "the Almighty"

It's one reason why Robertson sees a spiritual connection between politics and the state of the nation. The reality show superstar spoke at the Rock the South summit in Cullman, AL yesterday. He talked about duck calls, college football and the upcoming elections.

Robertson’s company recently sold its one-millionth duck call, and Robertson and his son Alan told the crowd how thankful they were for the success they’ve enjoyed. Robertson founded the company out of his love for hunting, and its now a multi-million dollar business.

“You don’t think the Almighty ain’t there?,” he said. He wrapped his speech by telling the crowd to make their collective voice heard in November. Register to vote ... and then make it happen.

Get your tail down and vote and lets vote this ungodly bunch out of Washington,” he said to cheers from the crowd.

Look for Phil to die "unexpectedly."

Hunting accident (rookie deer hunter's stray bullet -read:snipers bullet)'. Or an unfortunate ATV rollover. Or Uncle Si went berserk from Agent Orange shot his own brother (even though Si was frog hunting elsewhere at the time)

In 2011, he donated $1000 to the mayor of Monroe, LA, Jamie Mayo. If ever there was a political criminal in Louisiana, Mayo is it. That’s all I need to know.

Robertson, or the other fellow?

That sounds like a pretty token amount; corporations regularly donate to both parties. Yes it amounts to baksheesh.

I wonder if Breitbart was as dug into his faith as the Robertsons, however.

Can we vote hell’s little helpers out of our hearts?

It's going to be extremely hard, especially for the Pollyanna Republicans. They cling like barnacles to the quaint emotional notion that all you need to do is vote for the "R" regardless of the candidate's character. Apparently the only qualification is that the candidate is NOT a "D". Too many people have been using that voting strategy for way too long, and that's what's gotten us into this mess, with the statist Obama/Reid/McConnell/Boehner power sharing arrangement.

"Just get a Republican majority in the Senate in November" argument doesn't hold water any more, not with these back-stabbers in charge.

I guess you’ve never heard about martyrs who had lots of faith.

Cut off the MSM. No cable, no newspaper, no radio, no NPR, no support whatsoever, even listening to Rush supports others that we can’t agree with. It is apparent to me that until the MSM is defeated by whatever means there will be no change. None.

This is better than nothing — but it is not enough.

Now the bible is VERY clear. PRAY FOR... the candidates you like? Nope. Kings, and all who are in authority.

You want — and God wants — His grace to be expressed through such people. Yes, I said grace. One evil king can be set up to take a complete fall. Another one may be tolerated while being hemmed in in order to bring forth good in spite of himself. “The heart of the king is like WATER in the Lord’s hands: He turns it wherever He wishes.”

Character in the mere flesh can fold in a moment. What I almost inevitably see is witch hunts to find the black squares in this or that person’s past, sometimes distant past. This is what produced the circular firing squads that ended up serving up the safe mediocre candidates in 2008 and 2012.

Mayo’s still in office. It was McAllister who gave him the contribution.

Mayo is a supporter of Mary Landrieu.

I notice martyrs tend to be very public about it.
